   Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. Great hidden gem for those who love neighbourhood bistros and easy-going spaces to catch-up with friend over a glass of wine without spending a fortune or being judged. Service was what service should be all about: hospitality. Kiwi care and vibe with European diligence and attentiveness. Thanks Britt for looking after my and my guest and compliments to the chef on an spectacular brisket.

   We were looking for somewhere to have tea/coffee as it was 3.30pm. But of course, all cafes close at "tea time" Came across Bar Martin and we were thrilled. It plugs that 'dead time ' between cafes closing at 3.00pm and bars/restaurants opening at 5.00pm But mor e than that, what a fab venue, fab reasonably priced food, and great wine and spirits. We sat in the sun and sipped Gin & Tonic and ate pate and burrata cheese. - Very yummy. Fabulous service too. Highly recommend. Please open one in Te Atatu
