“Had my first experience of Ethiopian food here, and it was delicious! The wife and husband team let us know what was available and put together an excellent communal meal for six of us. Although it took a while to arrive (cooked from scratch!), it was well worth the wait and the portions were extremely generous. Highly recommend!”

We highly recommend this venue if you are looking for somewhere little bit more intimate where you can interact with your guests whilst overlooking the stunning view of the surrounding gardens. “This review is solely based on their coffee. Mojo coffee served here which is simply amazing. Wifey had a Latte and I had a long black which tasted delicious. Food options are very limited. Could use more snacks like scones or muffins. Customer service needs improvement as well, maybe more smiley faces?”

“If you’re visiting Newmarket Mall, definitely try their coffee — I really enjoyed it. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly. I also had their almond croissant, which was excellent. Prices are reasonable, and I’ll be coming back for lunch next time.”

Excellent customer services, overall. Only downside is that, all items are highly exorbitant (overpriced) but quality food though. I highly recommend Jamaica Blue Cafe....”

“Have been eating here for a while now and always enjoy it. Food is always good. Reccomend the bbq skewers as they are a must try. Another thing to try would be their big plate chicken generous portions. Great place to hang out with mates for a late night spot.”

“The best Malaysian-style fish fillet curry laksa I have ever had. My friend dines here often and he highly recommended I try their food, it was my first time. Our conversation was cut short once the food arrived, there was no time to talk but eat and enjoy every mouthful as my taste buds were having a party! Inside the cafe it's rather small and intimate, I counted 20 seats available inside, they have tables outside but it's too cold to be dining outdoors in autumn and winter is just around the corner. It wouldn't be ideal if you were after a space to have private and confidential conversations because nearby tables and customers can hear you. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful and I will be back for more curry laksa. Thank you for a delicious, mouth-watering experience.”

“went in today to grab some lunch with my parents, their food was absolutely delicious. We ordered dahi puri, potato vada, gujrati thali and pav bhaji. Every single dish we ordered was made with such care and the taste was impeccable, I would highly recommend getting the pav bhaji as it was definitely a highlight. Every dish arrived on our table within 10 minutes and it was all hot and straight from the kitchen. The atmosphere of the restaurant truly felt like home. The service provided by the staff was excellent. Will definitely be going again sometime soon !”

“If you’re in search of an authentic Taiwanese beef braised noodle soup 牛肉麵, this place is it! We are so happy to have found the Tree Cafe after craving for Taiwanese cuisine for such a long time. Their soy milk was also perfect, it was not too sweet and full of flavour! The side dish of pickled cabbage was tasty as well. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. The only downside is that the parking can be somewhat challenging, as there is limited space for the mall customers.”

“10/10 food and service. Can speak English and chinese very fluently. Don't let the amount of Chinese spoken here bother you. Any western people are more than welcome to eat here. Food felt incredibly healthy with the way they cook food here. Service was superb. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy but that depends on the customers. Other than that 10/10 place would recommend for anyone to visit. And price is reasonable.”
