I did not order food. I ordered a lemonade which was nice, yet a little pricey at $5.50 for a medium sized glass which was half-filled with ice. The service was wonderful. Friendly and attentive staff. A warm, relaxed atmosphere. It has indoor & outoor seating options and all were clean. I would go back to try the food.

Charlie and George is one of those cafés that just gets everything right. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect whether you’re catching up with friends, having a family brunch, or just grabbing a coffee on the go. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome.
Great experience at Charlie & George! The service was warm and attentive, and the food was excellent. The chai latte hit the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, while the hot chocolate was rich and comforting. For breakfast, the Creamy Mushrooms were packed with flavour, the C and G Granola was fresh and satisfying, and the Buttermilk Banana Pancakes were beautifully fluffy. The Kid’s Cheese Burger Meal was a hit, and the House Breakfast was generous and tasty. Portion sizes were large, prices were reasonable, and despite the busy Father’s Day crowd, staff made guests feel welcome and well looked after. Plenty of parking outside. Highly recommended!
I love this place! I come here to catch up with my friends sometimes and it has such a good variety of food on the menu as well as the cabinet. I love their bagels here and they always have such friendly service! I’ve come here quite a few times and I’m always happy with my meal
Stopped by for lunch. Fairly busy but there was a free table. Iced chocolate was a but bitter but the ice cream made it alright. They had a few different items on the menu and tried the pumpkin risotto. The rice was a bit too al dente for me but the pumpkin flavour was there. The feta and nuts gave it good texture and flavour. Nice cafe to stop by if you're in the area. Edit: We came by for a work lunch so there was a decent number of us. We did book beforehand. They are part of the Stonefield complex so you are able to use the parking lot there. They have both cabinet food as well as an a la carte menu. The menu has a range of interesting items like a lamb tostada and chicken and waffles. I ended up going with the creamy mushrooms. The mushrooms were nicely seasoned and there was a decent heap over the sourdough. It was a nice place for a casual lunch and does cater for most dietary needs.
Went there for brunch. 3 adults + 1 infant. The buttermilk pancakes were great! I added bacon and the ice-cream. I did ask for cream instead, but they didn't have any. Pancakes were nice and fluffy, and the bacon was cooked to my liking. They had okay access for the stroller and a change table in the bathroom, which is a huge plus! 4 stars only as the coffee wasn't the best.
Mother & Daughter breakfast at our local, she thoroughly enjoyed her buttermilk banana pancakes, fluffy and delicious. My meal was OK, Garden of Vegan (I added x1 poached egg) but bland, filling breakfast. Good coffee, I had Soy Latte and daughter said her hot choc was nice.
I have not visited Charlie and George in many years and it's still a excellent cafe and I love menu. The chicken waffle tasted delicious and I would highly recommend this dish if your coming. We loved the decor and great service we got from the friendly staff.
