   Hands down the best coffee shop in Auckland. Scratch that- NEW ZEALAND. The vibe is the best the coffee is rad and the people are spectacular! I loved when this was a hidden gem and love it even more now it’s so popular! I have friends who travel over an hour just so we can go hang out at Drifter. So proud of how successful this place has become and well deserved too. Love u always Drifter ❤️❤️

   Very friendly team, beach setup/decor with lots of plants. Very busy Cafe with relaxed atmosphere, lots of green plants, can tell the owner is into sustainability - reusable mugs for "have here" customers (looks like you choose your own mugs too), biocups made from plants not oil for takeaway coffee, and even the takeaway cup holders were made of milk cartons! The coconut Latte I had was very nice. Will definitely be back!

   This is a lovely coffee shop with chill vibes, relaxed environment and warm and hospitable staff. The coffee and toasties were delicious and it is easy to stay here for a long period of time. However the limited parking and seating that this cafe offers that turn me off a bit and more indoor seating could enhance the experience.

   Drifter is a truly special place. Because lets face it, Orewa is not a massively exciting area and Drifter is on a nondescript industrial strip well back from the beach. But stepping in here is like being transported to a different world... and sitting in here with an outstanding coffee, sun pouring in through the ole roller door pulled up to the top, Warm service, tasty toasties... It just brings a little bit of magic to your day.

   Little tucked away coffee shop off the main street. Light and airy with plenty of plants. I like their use of eclectic mugs and 50c discount for bringing a keep cup. Good coffee too. Will have to return and try a toastie!

   What a vibe! It’s not often you come across a cafe that literally feels like home?! Plush couches, plants and a beautiful doggo called Cracker and of course amazing coffee with an awesome team running the show. Drifter coffee you have really built a special place with an amazing vibe! Keep it up.
