The gelato is the real deal…molto bene! The pizza (thin crust) is fabulous. It’s not located in the most idyl area, but hey, when the product is good, it still works.
It’s an amazing place to eat. The best pizzas I’ve ever had, made by a genuine Italian chef. The gelatos are incredible — amazing flavor and texture. Even the vanilla ice cream, which is usually simple, has an outstanding taste. Top-notch cuisine and very friendly staff. Great job, guys!
This is a solid spot for pizza and pasta, offering good quality dishes made by an authentic Italian chef. While the location right next to a busy road might not make it the most inviting place to dine in, it’s an good choice for takeaway.
Had a small family dinner for the five of us. We love pasta as a family and I cook pretty decent pastas myself with homemade sauce. This was out of this world. Particular loved the October special and the three meat ragu.
Delicious pizzas made by possibly the loveliest, friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever met! 10/10 highly recommended!
We stopped over to get Gelato on our bike ride back to the ferry terminal. The four of us had white chocolate, chocolate and hazelnut icecreams and all 3 of them were delicious. We were told the icecreams were made in the store and they were making the sold out ones while we were there We got hungry and got couple of small pizzas aswell to share and they were so yumm!! Service was amazing , very friendly staff and the pricing is decent too. Highly recommend La Dolce Vita :-)
I love the vegetarian slice pizza. Super tasty, I really miss this type of pizza. Cozy and comfortable place. Their coffee was great too.
We ordered a beef lasagna, their Monthly special Pizza and the beetroot salad. Delicious food, full of flavour and authentic Italian food! Also, great customer service. A place not to be missed if you are planning to visit Waiheke. This little gem is one of the Local’s best choice.
We loved eating at La Dolce Vita! Thank you so much for being happy to make vegan friendly food. The pizza with eggplant and vegan cheese and the pasta with olives were super delicious! The lemon gelato was also particularly refreshing. We also got the pasta marinara, carrot salad and mango, vegan chocolate and passionfruit gelato, which were yummy.
