   This place is a gem, the food is so delicious. We both had meat (lamb) over chips, and it was so fresh and delicious. The lamb was done perfectly. We will be back! Also, the owner is such a nice guy. Only here for a few more days, but now I want more of this food.

   Highly recommended Turkish takeaway/restaurant on Waiheke. Its owner operated small business. I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu, all cooked with so much passion and good ingredients. Great value for the money you spend. Has such nice vibe and they have a selection of healthy salads. Good balance of meat and veggi options. Great customer service. Put this on you're list when on Waiheke. You will not regret. They also make mean Turkish tea. Absolutely delicious!!

   Absolutely fantastic! The food was truly outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every single one of us loved our meals, from the meat dishes to the vegetarian options and appetizers – everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back. A well-deserved five out of five stars!

   Absolutely exquisite. I was apprehensive at first after reading a couple of reviews here. The truth is, this place is the epitome of aroha in the food. Such fresh, delicious and made with love. I will come back time and time again for this level of care taken. Thank for the delicious Beetroot Salad, Tabouleh and Lamb salad. Amazing!

   Fabulous Turkish food at very reasonable prices with the bonus of some delicious sweet treats including tarts and muffins, very yummy Turkish delight (rose, orange and pistachio the days we visited) and baklava. Friendly owners, prompt service, parking around the back and very popular with the locals (always a good sign). As well as sit down inside the deli/café, you can also sit out the front and bask in the sun or take away your food. If you’re on the island and want some great Turkish food available all day at affordable prices, head to Cappadocia in Ostend. It’s on the bus route with the bus stop just a few metres along the road.

   The best Turkish food and most delicious French pastries! Soooo worth stopping in Ostend for. Cappadocia is one of the best kept secrets on Waiheke Island. In the centre of Ostend, where the locals hang out, it's not an obvious stop for visitors to the island but is so worth finding. The portions are excellent and prices are really good. Almost everything is made on the premises AND many of the ingredients are locally sourced. The lemons in the lemon meringue pie and quince in the quince tarts are grown by the owners on the island. Thoroughly recommend the Halloumi Iskender (pictured) and Moussaka dish of the day. The kebabs are great too - beautifully cooked and served. Then there's desert! - the Baklava is the best, lemon meringue pie, chocolate raspberry muffins and of course Turkish Delight. We were a bit full after lunch so did take out desert. Worth going in just for the sweet treats in the afternoon. So many great choices. Went twice in one week and will go again. Very friendly owners - if they have time for a chat (busy at lunchtime) you'll find out all sorts of interesting things about the food. Cappadocia - we love you. Keep up the great work.

   Very delicious vegetarian bowl. You can choose 5 different salads and they were all really good. The size of the meal was large and the price is good for the size and quality. Also the service and the place itself is lovely.

   The food is divine and lots of it!! So delicious. The owner (I think he is the owner) is so lovely ! Highly recommend his place! Great vegan treats too! Traditional Turkish tea and coffee too :)
