“The St Lukes vets are such a professional and caring clinic - I am very happy to have chosen them for our dogs. We have unfortunately had to put a dog down there and they were super caring, talked through my options and helped make the awful process as kind and humane as possible - all the while I kept blubbering. They have seen our animals on very short notice when we thought they were in pain and even rung us to move appointments up when they thought the issue should be addressed sooner. They have rung to see how the dogs are the day after care and been super friendly, kind and professional. Highly recommend”

Sophie, the vet nurse, was very helpful from the beginning when I called to make an appointment, to help contact the original owner and follow through. It’s a long story but I really appreciate Sophie’s help and time. She has demonstrated how much they care about animals from these small details. “Shout out to the amazing vet Saffron ( hopefully I’m spelling her name correct ) Who came out yesterday to my lamb who had been attacked by a dog. Not only was she careful and very thorough but she was kind, funny and caring. She was realistic with us and did the very best she could. If I could recommend anyone it would be her. I really hope this is passed on to her as we want her to know how grateful we are for everything she did for us.”

“I was really stressful and concerned about my cat who started to show signs of not being able to open her right eye and I was worried death. So I call first thing in the morning to book an appointment for her and all the clinics are fully booked. Even Herne Bay as well of course. But what I love about them is they don't just hang off the phone telling me there's no spot for my cat, instead they provided me with some useful information on what to do and they showed care to my cat's situation ♡ I'm really grateful for the lady who answered my call this morning;) she was super helpful and lovely! Can't recommend this vet enough even ive only been there once.”

“I took my cat Harry in with a ureter blockage in the evening and couldn’t be happier with the care we received. We were met immediately on arrival, and Jack the vet did a fantastic job of quickly assessing Harry, and carefully explaining in detail what our options were. I appreciated how he listened to our concerns. A few hours later we picked him up and he had clearly been looked after well. He was unblocked and fully recovered in 24 hours. Amazing!”

“I have just been to St Heliers Vet Hospital for the first time after recommendation from my brother in law. I turned up with my cat, my baby and a pram not realising that the entrance was up many stairs. With a few trips I managed to get up the stairs ok. Dr Sean was really lovely with our cat. After the appointment Sean insisted on helping us all down the stairs and even buckled the cat crate into the car for me. Really lovely of him.”

“I love getting a reminder via email and text that my fur baby is due for his yearly vaccines! Booking an appointment online is super easy, done in 1 minute tops. Once I got in the lovely ladies greeted me and I was seen very quickly. They listened to the concern I had with a bump on Alfies skin and took a look at it for me and gave me advice. Did the vaccine and I was good to go. My dog was very at ease in the patient room. Kumeu isn't local for us, but it is worth the drive for this kind of care.”

“I can’t speak highly enough of the team at VSA Sylvia Park. My beloved cat Mac was only 3 1/2 but had an undiagnosed heart issue that caused an embolism. The team were incredible from the moment I rushed through the door. The receptionists were so kind - particularly Michael who is amazing at his job and went above and beyond. Mac was given urgent priority and rushed through for treatment. Bobbi our vet was so kind and compassionate to us, patiently explaining all options and not pressuring us. We felt very informed and though it broke our hearts to put Mac to sleep, we knew we were doing the right thing to end his suffering. Bobbi let me stay right to the end so I could comfort Mac, and even locked the door so we wouldn’t be disturbed. She is a true gem and I’ll never forget her kindness. I really appreciate that the team also organised paw prints, nose prints, and some of his fur in a bottle. Very special keepsakes. I never leave Google reviews but felt compelled to as I was blown away by the service. I know it must be such a tough job, so full credit to the team.”
