Unempathetic. Doesn't explain anything thoroughly despite asking clarifying questions. Goes straight to wanting to provide a quick fix so they can increase their fee, without providing costs then makes you feel like you're being cruel to your animals. Fails to take into account the full picture of the pet, doesn't consider factors individual to the pet that only the owners know.

Honestly, gaslighting galore. Waste of money and want you to open your wallet for any and everything. Seem to shame you for making having financial struggles too. My cat deserves the best, not some half assed attempt. My hands are shaking, im so upset. It always takes the worst for someone to even get a blink in your direction. What if your animal bloody dies? Avoid! Also made me feel like its my god damn fault that my cat is unwell. I think people need a dictiomary definition of what negligence is. If a client is concerned for their pet, LISTEN!

Super easy and friendly staff. My cat Simba was purring during her general check up so must be a good sign the vets love what they do :) Will be back again!

Had to visit Care Vets in a rush due to my dog having a seizure. They were super quick with seeing us and assisting with Diego. They are knowledgeable and caring vets, they have a genuine love for animals and it shows. They will be our new vet moving forward.

I recently took my cat to these vets after she suddenly went blind. Unfortunately, my experience there was disappointing. The vet at Te Atatu provided little insight beyond noting possible high blood pressure and did not explore other options or run additional tests. The level of care and advice was less than satisfactory. After visiting multiple vets and specialists, I found the team at Care Vets Hobsonville to be exceptional. They have conducted a comprehensive range of tests and are thoroughly investigating different causes for my cat’s condition. This is what I would have expected from my visit to care vets Te Atatu but instead have been left shocked at the difference of care between the two.

Lovely staff informative and caring highly recommend - they look after our 3 cats and one dog with the greatest expertise. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my pets.

Horrible vets with horrible staff! The only time I ever heard my dog yelping in agonizing pain while she forced the needle into his neck causing massive bruising. Stay clear of this awful place!!!

I am over this Vet and will now find a new one. The vets are no better than average, they have never really got to grips with my animals ongoing medical condition and the admin at this place is appalling. Messages don’t get passed on, reminders don’t happen, phone messages are not replied to and today they tried to charge me for an outstanding amount on my account which I knew wasn’t real. The lady behind the counter was pleasant enough but the ease and speed with which this was removed when I protested made me think that she didn’t trust their admin either.

Upset and disappointed. After making the very difficult decision to put our beautiful 15 year old lab down as her quality of life had significantly deteriorated, we turned to our local vet for guidance. Overheard the receptionist scoff to the vet at our request. So glad we instead decided on a mobile vet who was compassionate and made the whole process for both our fur baby and the whānau as caring and comfortable as possible.
