“The food was great and the service was fast...prices were reasonable, we got 12 dishes and came to 240. I'd say that's cheap!!! The only down fall the seating was so crowded there were 13 of us on a round table we couldn't even fit. They need to sort their space out”

“A bonus that this restaurant is part of the hotel we’re staying in. Great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, absolutely delicious food. Steak and chips, cook exactly how we asked, accompanied by truffle butter. Chicken Tikka, with a trip of dips, accompanied by garlic naan, and rice. Not too spicy (perfect for those who don’t like spice) my favourite dip was the tzatziki style. Kids meals come with a drink and dessert. Mac and cheese, perfect size for for kids, my son enjoyed it but I through it was too cheesy. Ice cream sundae was very cute, 1 single scoop with marshmallows, sprinkles and wafers. “Anyone who asks for the best Peking duck in Wellington, this is where you come! They have the best chef from Beijing and you get so much meat! You can choose "one way", 2 ways (Peking duck with noodle stir fry) or 3 ways (duck bone soup) basically just use the rest of the duck and not wasting them. We got the 3 ways and the soup is nice and refreshing, noodles we could live without but it's fine. Bonus is their cold dish mung bean noodles is the best I've ever had and love their stir fried eggplant with mince stuffing.”

“Great location, the were able to accommodate all 30 of us, and the space worked really well for 13 kids in our group! Everyone enjoyed the food, my wife and I went for the schnitzel which was a decent size, and came paired with really nice coleslaw salad an sauce. I had the chance my son's fried chicken which was delicious! there was a lot going on for a Sunday, as they had salsa dancing and the music was LOUD! we didn't mind, but some in our group made a comment as they couldn't hear each other. I'd say it's a great place with very nice atmosphere, and they have great food and fantastic service, will definitely come again.”

“Absolutely amazing! Emailed a couple of questions before coming and the replies were very quick and helpful. Service was amazing. The food, MY GOD THE FOOD, by far the best lamb dish I've had in wellington. Comes with these onions in a sauce that is just devine. 10/10 will be back again. An amazing experience especially for groups. Also as a note the salad at the start, idk what dressing is on it. But it's amazing !!!!”

“We opted for a range of share plates in lieu of mains - the pull-apart garlic loaf, pork belly bites, bacon wrapped scallops and calamari. Four plates was enough to fill two of us up, and the food was AMAZING - just good food well prepared and executed. I stepped out to take a phone call and by the time I came back, our food had arrived. The staff were awesome - personable, attentive, authentic and helpful. Kate in particular put us right at ease and was the consummate host. A nice, quiet table, great music not too loud to preclude conversation, and staff that seem like they actually want to be here dealing with you... that was the point of difference! Highly recommended.”

“We went in for the first time today with a group of 6. The good humoured Maîre d’ was able to accommodate our group and we all had the burger special. The seating was comfortable and the food was sooo good. The staff are really jovial and friendly with a dash of cheekiness which we loved. We shall be back!”

“Oh wow, I’ve couldn’t asked for more… The food blew my expectations with a mix of both gourmet and the pub grub that comforts the belly. Ordering was a breeze (thanks Rosie!!) the food arrived faster than my typical “fast food” visit, and the atmosphere at the quiz was like I was playing The Chase with Bradley Walsh. I’m making this my regular - Thanks Realm Team!”

“We have been to this cafe so many times. I love the outdoors, it has nice area outside where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and meals. I always feel this place is a bit pricey but still like the vibe of the cafe. Service is okay, there are times when we have to request staff to clean table. Other than that staff are always polite and helpful. I enjoy their milkshakes, coffees are okay.”

“We cannot get enough of this place, very well priced too. Always leave full and happy. Only disappointment is that they've removed the cheese dip and corn chip entree which was our favourite. Love the decor and the service is great even when very busy. Have tried a wide range of the meals and have loved every one of them. The margaritas are delicious too. Favourite restaurant by far.”

The service from Ashish was excellent. He was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable which made our experience even better. Definitely recommend both the dish and the great service. “IG: 2Fish1Chip Order: Blue Cod, Warehou and a scoop of chips. Cost: $33.80 I thought two different fillets would be better for comparison and as a more solid baseline. Firstly, WTAF!?! The size of these fillets were ginormous!!! I had to put a can of coke next to them for scale! Both fillets were equally delicious and cooked to peak performance. The Warehou was fresh and steaky as you would expect. Tasty and filling to the very end. The batter had perfect colouring and crunch. The Blue Cod had the same battered goodness, and flesh was flaky, soft and melted in your mouth. Classic Blue Cod vibes all the way to bank! The only minor piece on both fillets was the batter. The inside was a little underdone probably due to the dense mixture, but it was only a minor blip against the entire experience. The Crickle Cuts, we’re good as well. Nice crunch before reaching the pillowy centre. The portion was twice that of an average serving. ✅ Portion ✅ Cost ✅ Taste - With an asterisk for the batter Definitely value for money from these guys. Not sure if it was a one off, but I’d be keen to go back and do check in come summer. Xiexie”

“Our favourite place to eat, and we often travel from the Wairarapa just for Tequila Joes!!! Highly recommend the buffalo wings, with the classic buffalo sauce, plus Chipotle beef for main. Awesome selection of drinks, great music, love the staff.”

“We regularly come here with the kids, extended family and friends! We love the outdoor but undercover section. It’s warm even on a cold day! We so appreciate the kids area and try to book a table near it! The staff are always friendly, quick and efficient! We have several food allergies with the kiddos and it’s never been a problem here! Kids love it! The only negative is that there is not a dairy free option for kids dessert eg only soft serve. Would be fabulous to have another option even ice blocks.”

“Went in on a cold Wednesday for some lunch and had the loaded hash bites. SOOOO good. Me and my boyfriend were raving about it on the walk home. 15.90 I think is very affordable for wagu brisket on hash bites. The meat was tender and the sauces were delicious. Very good customer service too. Very friendly and kind. Definitely would eat here again!”
