Burger was awesome! Good coffee, cabinet apple pie heated was well paired. Waffles are extra sweet

Spruce Goose never disappoints. the kai is always on point and usually comes out quick with hardly any wait. great spot to grab a bite before a flight. Only downside is how loud it gets inside, especially when itβs busy, due to the cafe setup. If you have sensitive ears, it can be a bit much and you end up having to sometimes yell to hear one another

The food is great and the atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing as well. If you seat outside also can viewing the flight takeoff to the sky. And the beach side view is beautiful too.

Always love coming here when in Wellington as it's close to where we are - it's always busy which says a lot about the food - nice to look out at the ocean no matter what the day and watch the planes coming in at odd angles on the windy days. I've left pics of our food on this day - the burger special with beer and the scrambled eggs - only thing we were disappointed that the server whipped away our mocha BEFORE we'd had the marshmallows- we were saving the best for last - waaaahhh!

We have been to this cafe so many times. I love the outdoors, it has nice area outside where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and meals. I always feel this place is a bit pricey but still like the vibe of the cafe. Service is okay, there are times when we have to request staff to clean table. Other than that staff are always polite and helpful. I enjoy their milkshakes, coffees are okay.

Being a bit of an aeroplane fanatic, this is the perfect spot for a bite and a drink. While the weather was a bit stormy and the sea was choppy, this was a perfect spot to enjoy a hot drink and breakfast. As per usual, drink orders were taken first. Coffees and Teas all around! The coffee was very good, the flat white smooth and creamy, hot and steamy! Watching the surfers waiting for their next breaker, we all ordered our food. 3 of us ordered Eggs Benedict, and one ordered the Waffles. The eggs were cooked perfectly, exploding onto the toast when cut with the knife. The hollandaise was light, slightly acidic, and the perfect compliment to the plate. The bacon was nice and crispy, and I loved the ciabata toast, well toasted. The waffles were a treat, covered in syrup and a delicious cinnamon cream. The waffles had a nice crispy coating, and all went down a treat. To top it all off, the prices were incredible, at around $20 per person. So a delicious breakfast, lovely drinks, and the pleasure of watching the planes come and go all while the ocean churns away in the background. It doesn't get much better than that!

Great friendly cafΓ© right next to the airport by the sea. Perfect location to watch the coming and going of aircraft and ferries crossing the Strait. Limited menu but that means everything is cooked to perfection. Good selection of drinks, wonderful spot. It's one of our favourite places.

Nice views, thin toast. Really great view of Lyall looking towards red rocks (glass needs cleaning though) and views of planes is fun to watch! Food and service was Ok! Bit disappointed with small, thin toast that came with meal. Not worth the $$. I would come here again, and just order coffee. I hope that the owner gives the staff a Living Wage.

Great location with the beach across the road. Restaurant was modern, clean and busy with people. Generous with the bacon as it was ordered as a side. The brunch meals came out very quickly. The eggs tasted great. My burger came out late and the others had finished eating which I didnβt likeβ¦ BUT I can forgive this as it was worth the wait, fresh and tasted great. Patty was thick and chips crunchy.
