While on vacation in Wellington. Had a wonderful dinner experience at Foxglove. Food was delicious and fast, with beautiful views of the Harbour. Our server Alice was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about Wellington and things to do during our trip.

Alley, Alley, Alley, where do I start!? She oozes personality and professionalism, you can tell she absolutely loves her job and it is so refreshing! From the get go she was fantastic. Nothing was ever a problem and the communication was top tier, an absolute superstar. Alley went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, and we only gave her a very small amount of time which made her even more of a hero! I would 1000% recommend having your wedding at Foxglove. It was a special place to us which made it perfect but even it it wasn't, it's such a fantastic venue and couldn't speak more highly of the service we received. Laurie & Dan

Awesome vibe here. The place is buzzing in the weekend! Beautiful food. Sometimes it can be hard to find a place to yourselves after about 5pm in the weekend as is quite busy in the evening!

Couldn't be happier with the experience! The food was outstanding, indeed it had been quite some time since I had such an enjoyable meal. The staff were amazing. We were given two lovely colorful drinks for free to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday. The harbor view was a plus point adding to the overall beauty of the dining experience. Our food arrived quickly we didn't have to wait long although it was a rush weekend. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning soon!

The decor inside Wolf has been done beautifully. Love the dark green and old features. The service and Argentinian red wine was great. One person in our group had the pork belly starter and found it a bit too fatty and rich. The grilled squid starter was very yum. A few of us had the Japanese wagyu steak, which is the most expensive steak on the menu per 100g. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed because some of us got very thick pieces and others got thinner pieces, which looked like they were cooked differently inside, even though we were told they were all medium rare. I personally found the meat too rare for my liking and too fatty. I don't mind a bit of fat, but then it needs to be charred instead of raw. I should've selected the scotch fillet instead. I was probably expecting a lot more of a tasty piece of meat for what we paid. The mushrooms and creamed spinach sides were nice, but the creamed spinach was more like a puree rather than cooked spinach in a creamy sauce, which I would've preferred. One of our party had a birthday, so it was a nice gesture when her dessert was served with 'happy birthday' written on the plate. The apple dessert was very yummy.

Great patio on the harbour. Food and drink a little overpriced but we decided to eat here due to the prime location on a warm day in the sun. Fish and chips were good, but not worth $34. Stacey ordered the Cesar salad as the veggie option but it came out with prosciutto (which was not on the menu) so she sent it back for a refund as it was the only βveggieβ option on the menu.

Arrived for lunch, seated without delay. The waitress must have been new or maybe a menu change but she needed to refer to her notes when she advised menu choices. I was there with a group so probably be different with smaller table and things would feel more relaxed. Aged steak cuts, tomahawk steaks you can't go wrong, that said the charred octopus with squid ink was amazing. Wide selection of beer and wines. Food was amazing and brought out in quick succession.
