   We’ve been coming here for a family Xmas brunch for 14 consecutive years and never been disappointed until now. The hazy beers tasted dirty from the pipes and when we tried to return them, we were told they tasted fine. We then purchased two new varieties only to find small flies inside the glass near the bottom. Maybe a one off but again on the next pints. Then came the food, fish had strong odour, definitely not fresh, and one pizza was so black underneath it was not edible. The rest of the food was just passable. An Irish coffee that was cold and curdled folllowed, and when we took this back, we were told it was the first time the bar server had made it so would try again. I said no thanks and asked for it to be removed from the bill which it wasn’t so had to ask again at time of paying. The service was almost non existent and we were required to go the bar to order each time. As a group we spent over $700 so not a small amount. I could mention further things but overall a poor and disappointing experience. Unfortunately we won’t be back which is sad after 14+ years.

   Have been dining here often over the years and tonight is definitely the best that we’ve had to date. Our whole group of 8 were impressed with the pizzas, chicken pama and the steaks that were presented and how yummy they were. This would also be the first time in a long time that my medium steak was actually medium and not rear, or drenched in sauce. And we were pleasantly surprised with the value of the meals as well.

   The best fish and chip meal in Wellington at the moment. Special on the lunch size (main has double the fish!). Light crunchy batter, amazing fries. Dog friendly as well. Highly recommend.

   A wonderful supper prepared and presented beautifully. A perfectly cooked steak with salad and chips accompanied by really tasty homemade peppercorn sauce was a hit as was the plant based burger in a brioche bun. The finale was the gorgeous chocolate brownie with ice cream, cream, and chocolates. An absolute winner. Congratulations to chef Frank and the fab waitress Issy. Thank you x

   Oh wow, I’ve couldn’t asked for more… The food blew my expectations with a mix of both gourmet and the pub grub that comforts the belly. Ordering was a breeze (thanks Rosie!!) the food arrived faster than my typical “fast food” visit, and the atmosphere at the quiz was like I was playing The Chase with Bradley Walsh. I’m making this my regular - Thanks Realm Team!

   Best steak ever! My husband and I had the steak, eggs and chips and it was delicious. I wanted my steak a little more cooked up and it was no problem at all...the chef did it with a big smile and added another egg (I had already eaten the two and they were yummy). Great options on the menu and staff obviously happy to be working there. Thanks guys. (we were the first to arrive for dinner so the restaurant was a little cold...I am sure it would warm up as other people arrived).

   First time here , went for mothers day brunch and had an ok time here. Food was not great . Had english breakfest and the muffin seemed over toasted and stale . Portions werent that filling but price reflects that i guess. The table we got seated on was hella unstable we couldnt move around much as we felt the food will flip off had we leant on it too much . Mimosas were ok also . Other than that reasonable prices and service was good .

   I loved it. Was going to go to the restaurant part but ended up just eating and staying in the bar area so this review is only for the bar. This is just your down the road and very down to earth local but with friendly and warm staff, great burgers, good prices and a good drinks range. I didn't use the restrooms but everything else seemed clean. And great little outdoor spot for some people watching with a ciggie and a drink. Go early to catch sun!

   Service is always great here. I really must learn the main hosts name, as he's super friendly and makes it a real pleasure to visit. We often go a bit early to have dinner with the kids so for us the food is always quite quick to be served. Well priced and enjoyable. We shared the lava cake as a treat, and although a bit too runny, was still delicious. Main meals were very enjoyable too. Added bones there are a few screens around showing the current sport, which is nice, not too overbearing. Also a small lay area off the the side for families with toddlers, as well as some seating outside for a nice afternoon drink.
