   Great location, the were able to accommodate all 30 of us, and the space worked really well for 13 kids in our group! Everyone enjoyed the food, my wife and I went for the schnitzel which was a decent size, and came paired with really nice coleslaw salad an sauce. I had the chance my son's fried chicken which was delicious! there was a lot going on for a Sunday, as they had salsa dancing and the music was LOUD! we didn't mind, but some in our group made a comment as they couldn't hear each other. I'd say it's a great place with very nice atmosphere, and they have great food and fantastic service, will definitely come again.

   Such a fabulous experience. As a Wellingtonian, SC has the best coffee I’ve had - which surprised even me. The duck donuts were a real standout and one of the nicest dishes I’ve had. The brisket loaded fries were sensational. An amazing experience.

   Jack (one of three Jacks, supposedly!) notified me that my order hadn't been processed on the till, apologized and offered a drink on the house. I've never experienced great customer service like it. My chicken wings turned out great too. I highly recommend this place!

   We celebrated our daughter’s baptism lunch in the Guest Room. Planning with Stephen was smooth and straightforward. Their functions menu fit well within our budget, and the food was lovely, receiving many compliments from our guests. However, the dishes were served one after the other rather than the sides being served alongside the mains, which would have been better. Nevertheless, it was a lovely meal and experience. Almost forgot about the free face painting for kids which our small guests enjoyed.

   Came here for dinner tonight. Awesome service! Amazing food. We got the buttermilk chicken burger. It was so yum and had heaps of flavour. The chips had a nice seasoning. Everything that came out for other people looked good. Currently not drinking so got an iced chocolate. Milkshakes aren't available after 5pm. The iced Chocolate was so yum! We got the cakes out of the cabinet. I think it was Passionfruit, white chocolate and oreo cheese cake and the other one was Chocolate and Raspberry slice. Really yum! Will be back.

   Absolutely perfect place to hang out friends or family. It is very spacious with in and outdoor space to choose. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I love most of the food we ordered, but not really a fan of matcha tiramisu.

   Our family group of four visited Southern Cross Garden Bar on a quiet night for an evening meal. The service was fantastic, and drinks went down well! Overall, everyone enjoyed their meals immensely with the Lamb Rack and Filet Steak Grill and Harrisa Lamb Shoulder outright winners. Unfortunately, the Salt and Pepper Squid I ordered was cold and inedible. Luckily, everyone else kindly shared their meals, and I know what to order next time!

   Friendly staff in a welcoming spot. I had their Stonegrill Surf and Turf and it was excellent. They serve your protein on a very hot volcanic stone and you're able to cook it to your liking. The shrimp came out perfectly, with a nice sear while remaining tender. The steak was a generous portion and the rock also gave it a nice sear on both sides. I recommend asking for an extra plate so you have some place to put the protein once you're done cooking it. Otherwise if you don't want it to overcook, you'll need to put it on top of the side dish and that got tricky. Fortune Favours' Sunchaser cider made for a tasty pairing.
