Lovely welcoming service, nice explanation on what to choose in a funky venue. Perfect for any night of the week. I wish I lived here for more visits! Thankyou for a fabulous meal.”

“First time visiting for lunch on a Thursday & the place was packed. You definitely need to make a reservation & wait to be seated. Once you have your table, you need to get back up into the queue to place your order but the staff are fast & efficient and it doesn’t take too long. Meals came out in good timing considering how busy it was & they were delicious with GF noodle options.”

We all got their wellington on a plate burger which by the way, was my top of the competition. Great quality food and the drinks were great too, huge selection of beers. “Wow had the most amazing delicious meal in a beautiful warm environment. Our server a young Indian man was ever so helpful and attentive to our needs especially for my mum who has a sore back he brought out extra cushions for her comfort. My mum wanted to take me and my son to brunch and I'm so glad we visited this fine establishment in raumati will definitely visit again !we ordered 5 spice braised pork belly mash potatoes veges my son ordered smashed avocado egg beetroot hummus on ciabatta toast my mum has sirloin steak medium rare cooked to perfection, chips and salad”

“Highly recommend. I absolutely loved my breakfast. The omelette was delicious and the butter was served at room temperature so it actually spread on my toast. The service was fast but you weren't rushed. Great chilling music played in the back ground.”

“Service was fantastic from an attentive server. Oysters and mussels were tasty and presented well. Flounder was cooked perfectly and the meat from the ribs fell off the bone. Delicious and good portions! Very happy.”

“We visited Sea Salt for lunch today, the meals were excellent, served by a charming waitress. The crispy calimari was one of the best I have enjoyed, just the right smount of pepper, and perfectly cooked. Brilliant coffee, served hot too.”

“If you become a member there you can get a discount on food and drink. Atmosphere was pretty chill when i went down but they do usually always have something going on weather it be a band or karaoke etc. Food was on point I had the ribeye steak with all the sides, staff were lovely. Wheelchair accessible kid friendly, they have a small timezone area out in the atrium. Be AWARE you need to be a member or with a member to drink alcohol there but anybody from the public can eat food there. Always a great go to when I need a steak meal”

“If you’re after great coffee and a huge variety of cabinet choices, this is the place to be! From sandwiches, to salads, savoury, sweet desserts etc. There is also a menu you can order from and the place is often bustling so best to book if you have a few going.”

“Just had the best service (and yummy meal, as always). There was a small error in the kitchen with my GF pizza, and it had to be remade. They were so apologetic, and even gave me a free dessert! I was more than happy to wait, and didn't expect anything free, but was so touched by the offer and incredibly impressed by the service. We will definitely be back! I was also very impressed at how careful they were with cross contamination. Would recommend for anyone with allergies, particularly GF, they take them seriously!!”

“The food is very flavoursome, healthy and varied. The service is usually good and was this last time (not very busy). The previous visit was not as good - not enough place settings, even after asking; we had water glasses but no water, until we asked for it; and we seemed to be a blind spot for the waiter. So either that waiter improved or it depends on how busy it is.”

“As a Shanghainese myself, I gotta say this restaurant offers the most authentic Shanghai local food in Lower Hutt, if not in Wellington. The fish fillet and the fried rice are amazing. Love them all! Thank you. Cheers~”
