Arrived very early evening mid-week and around five already people waiting, so not exactly a busy scenario, yet we still had to wait just over forty minutes for our food! We were a party of six, with simple orders of different types of fish and chips. Food quality and taste was inconsistent with fish that was average to poor, batter was mostly very overcooked and greasy and the chunky chips were mostly really overcooked. Portion sizes were small, but prices large. Although hungry we ate less than half of the food. Having eaten fish and chips for decades all over NZ and indeed other countries, I would suggest you avoid the marketing hype and get a lot better food and service almost anywhere else.

Thee most crazy overpriced average fish and chips ever. Never again. Small Snapper for $18. Fish burger the same price and a sloppy coconut cream mess, zero flavors apart from coconut cream. The curly fries were ok. $45 for what? Had far better from grass roots suburban fish and chips

Beautiful fresh fish. Good value for serve. But due to oil excess feel it was a bit of a waste of money. Just way too greasy!!!!!! As in dripping with grease. Food needs to be drained for longer. Also very frugal on the salt seasoning, be great if they had some salt sachets available so you could adjust to taste.

Have tried this place a couple of times, the fish is really fresh and their jalapeΓ±o poppers are good. Overall worth the price.

Got blue warehou n calamari. Nice and fresh, cooked just right. Calamari is big and tender, fish is soft and fresh too. Only downside was they had limited selection of seafood to choose compared to other places (eg no scallop, mussels, and their oysters are sold out) Will visit again if they had more selection. Flavour wise is tad bland but still good with some sauces.

Really good fish and chips and even some vegan options. Even discovered some new music - Tahini Bikini. Find them on bandcamp.

Tough to rate because they were sold out of a ton of meal options when we went, so we didn't have a lot of choice on food. For what our group was able to get, portions were great, taste was OK, and service was friendly. Service was a bit slow, but not unreasonably so. Good spot to try if you are in the area. The menu looks delish, so when they are fully stocked I would love to give this spot another try with the foods we were hoping to get originally.

Ordered through Delivereasy. A bit more upmarket than your usual f&c shop but it is a bit more fancy too. Originally got delivered the wrong order but they got me my one in the end. The squid, chips and panko fish burger were all great. The curly fries are exceptionally yum. Food quality was decent for delivered f&c, which usually don't travel well
