This was the best Thai food and specifically Pad Thai we've had in a long time. Staff were friendly and even set out some cool disney plates for out little boy. Definitely coming back!
First time trying this place as a takeaway tonight. Ordered 3 meals. 20km round trip. Get home to see M12 B for beef has no beef in it. Phoned straight away at 6.58pm to discuss, went to answerphone, left a detailed message, it’s now 11.06pm and not had a reply. Threw all our meals out as super bland. Not impressed at all.
Love this local gem in Tawa. Reasonably priced with huge portions. Food is delicious and service fantastic. BYO.
Compared to other Thai restaurants it’s just ok. The young man who is usually on the till seems to dislike his job and is generally unfriendly.
Great little place to eat. Parking outside and across the road. Staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. My Tom Yum Soup was delicious and warmed my face long after I had finished eating. Very tasty with authentic Thai flavours. Portion sizes were great. Food was value for money. Looking forward to coming back again.
Wow. When we entered we were greeted by a very enthusiastic waiter, the food was phenomenal. My partner said she hadn't had a proper Thai dish since being in Thailand several years ago. Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic staff.
I've read some of the reviews tonight before reviewing. We had a pleasant meal here. The food was Ok, a little under generous on the meat I'd say, especially compared to some other places that I've eaten. Also we both found the mains we ordered were a little lacking in wow factor. I feel bad pointing this out but perhaps it would be good to ask customers about spice level so it can be catered for on a case by case. Ours were completely lacking in any kind of heat or any punch flavors. For some this will be a blessing, but for me I'd rather have the option. On to the good parts: the Atmosphere was lovely. The place was clean and tidy. The service was very good too. Attentive and friendly. Also the food came out promptly. There were lots of menu options (probably too many in my opinion) and the price was reasonable but we did have to pay extra for rice which (as I've already seen commented on) is not a "biggie" but should be incorporated into the meal price - I think. Parking was readily available. It's hard being in the restaurant business. There is a lot of competition and the margins are difficult. This place has a lot of potential. I see a lot of hard work has already gone into making this place what it is. I feel the best way of taking it to the next step would be to zing up the food a bit more. Check out the competition out there and see what they're up to. Perhaps it was just what we ordered - but I just left wanting something more memorable. Next time - I might try the curries out of curiosity? Keep up the hard work and don't be afraid to shake things up!
Lovely atmosphere and lovely food. The dishes seem authentic, and both look and taste great. We've been here a few times and it's always been good. We'd certainly recommend this place for a nice evening out. They have a children's menu for the little ones.
