   The best kids menu's ever, food was fresh and well presented they were late bringing out one meal but compensated by not charging us for it, we were a very large table tho so its easy enough to do and a really chill atmosphere with live music

   Great selection of food and beverages, although priced slightly high. Overall, really friendly staff and a warm and welcoming environment. Has a weekly quiz night and live music too. Would definitely recommend this local venue, to those who wish to pay it a visit!

   This was a really good choice to meet up with friends for drinks before a show. Food is good with nice sized portions. A nice selection of beers, wines and ciders. Enough space to be comfortable and neat, clean bathrooms are always a plus.

   Had heard really good things about the food at One Fat Bird from friends and colleagues. Arrived to learn that they 'lost' all their chefs/staff. Now they just do a pub food menu. Decided to have the Korean style chicken burger. - Worst burger I have ever had! Covered in the most sickly sweet/sugary gelatinous sauce imaginable, served with a side of really badly done chips. The staff member serving us was incredibly weird and had zero people-skills. Very strange interactions with this fella. We arrived during "happy hour" - which will get you ~$3 off some of the beers. Not the best deal around. Overall, this place is obviously very different now due to change in staffing and menu. Currently really not living up to its previous reputation. Ate very little of it. Left hungry and ended up cooking at home after this :(

   One Fat Bird is the best kept secret in Karori! After a busy day of house hunting we stumbled in famished. Wonderful service and killer wings to boot, I can comfortably say this restaurant is my go to for a nice afternoon outing. Lovely atmosphere with unique food offerings, I highly recommend you try them out!

   We happened upon One Fat Bird by chance and it was an incredible place to go with the family. We were only there for appetisers and drinks unfortunately, as we were expected for dinner at the family's house. We walked in & us parents were pleased at the beer selection. The kids were immediately drawn to the whimsical decorations. Suzanna, who was front of the house staff, immediately made us feel super welcome & was so lovely & had spot on service. She went the extra mile and was fantastic with the kids. Our drinks were great. Our bowl of chips $11 and 8 buffalo wings $16 were delicious. The kids menu was in 3D so 3D glasses were worn by the kids. Good fun all around & we highly recommend.

   Kids friendly restaurant, attentive staff, great kids menu with drink and dessert inclusive for 11$. Sunday after 5pm kids eat free. Some street parking outside. Good menu and drink selection. Located near karori pool, great place for a meal after swim.
