Awesome service, stylish and modern café, extensive menu with such an interesting variety of options which was very refreshing. We had a great family lunch and will absolutely go back again.
Had the 8-course tasting dinner with wine pairing and it was such a great experience. Every dish was packed with flavour and looked amazing on the plate — you could tell a lot of thought went into the menu. Some combinations really surprised me, like the beetroot carpaccio with macadamia crusted feta, and the smoked eel with caviar — so good! The wines were perfectly matched to each course, starting with a crisp Champagne and ending with a bold Pinotage. It really brought out the flavours of the food. Service was spot on — the team were friendly, easy to talk to, and kept the evening feeling relaxed but still special. We never felt rushed, and everything flowed nicely from one course to the next. Left feeling full, happy, and impressed. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoys great food, wine, and a memorable night out.
Wonderful communal event here at Park Kitchen in Miramar. Paella Night matched with Spanish wines brought everyone together around the fire and Paella pan. The atmosphere was festive, intimate and inclusive. Chef Paul presided over his dish in the restaurant itself, allowing guests to come up and chat with him as it cooked. Truly authentic and delicious, the wonderful aromas permeating the entire place, it felt like Spain! PK Sommelier Michael teamed up with Sommelier Francis of Great Little Vineyard wineries to match up some great affordable Spanish Rosé, Chardonnay & reds. It was a memorable night with such camaraderie: Outstanding Paella, wines and friendship.
Me and my wife love coming here. We always have a warm welcome and we have enjoyed every meal we have here. My wife is vegan and often has the same thing but I am still trying new things and really enjoyed this steak. We love the team here. Happy hour is also a great time to come. Lots of great beers on offer as well as house brewed. Keep it up team!
Nice place, completely indifferent service, sad food. Burger was my third choice after first two were no-go. The beef was was dry and tasteless. Half-way through my drink was gone so I asked to see the drink menu again. Waitress handed it over then walked away before taking a drink order. Didn't come back. Seemed like a nice place but really let down by the staff.
The food was great, reasonably priced and service was prompt. The staff were lovely and friendly without being in our faces. On arrival, when we asked about the parking on the street because we wanted to keep an eye on our dog outside, the staff showed us around the back to an amazing covered outdoor courtyard which was cosy and comfortable and dog-friendly! We’ll definitely come back - a firm favorite restaurant now!
Hash cake with poached egg, added smoked fish. It was good. Soup was a miss today which is a shame as it was so good last time. Fantastic indoor out door area.
One of Miramars hidden gems. I was in a hurry but will definitely return for a longer meal. The milkshake looked amazing and tasted great. Highly recommended.
