“The food was great and the service was fast...prices were reasonable, we got 12 dishes and came to 240. I'd say that's cheap!!! The only down fall the seating was so crowded there were 13 of us on a round table we couldn't even fit. They need to sort their space out”

“Anyone who asks for the best Peking duck in Wellington, this is where you come! They have the best chef from Beijing and you get so much meat! You can choose "one way", 2 ways (Peking duck with noodle stir fry) or 3 ways (duck bone soup) basically just use the rest of the duck and not wasting them. We got the 3 ways and the soup is nice and refreshing, noodles we could live without but it's fine. Bonus is their cold dish mung bean noodles is the best I've ever had and love their stir fried eggplant with mince stuffing.”

“It's a huge outdoor playground with an older kids area, younger kid locked and fenced area, and an accessible toilet. The facilities are well maintained and all functional. The toilet and the playground are clean and tidy. There's ample free off street parking right at the entrance of the park.”

“Pop in there awhile ago with some family members for dinner, out of the five of us I was the only vegetarian, I was very happy with the selection of meals I had to choose from, my meal was very tasty and great, I know the rest of my family were very happy with their meals, The staff were great and friendly and were very helpful with any questions you may have when you are having trouble ordering, their prices are good you really get your money wroth here, they do sell liquor here but it’s also BYO but if I remember correctly it’s little charge for being your own, overall it was awesome night, it’s awesome to have such a great Restaurant in the heart of Newtown!! Thank you”

“The BEST chinese we have had in a very long time. Very authentic and yummy! Good size portions, amazing service from staff who were happy to chat and engage in conversation and a few laughs. Even went out of their way to make a special honey chicken dish which wasn't on the menu. Alcohol prices were also very good and not over priced. Had a beautiful dinner and who ABSOLUTELY recommend!!”

The food, MY GOD THE FOOD, by far the best lamb dish I've had in wellington. Comes with these onions in a sauce that is just devine. 10/10 will be back again. “We regularly come here with the kids, extended family and friends! We love the outdoor but undercover section. It’s warm even on a cold day! We so appreciate the kids area and try to book a table near it! The staff are always friendly, quick and efficient! We have several food allergies with the kiddos and it’s never been a problem here! Kids love it! The only negative is that there is not a dairy free option for kids dessert eg only soft serve. Would be fabulous to have another option even ice blocks.”

“Great American themed bar, with saddle seating at the bar and plenty of cowboy hats to go around! The decor throughout is great and in keeping with the theme and everywhere is clean. I was only visiting for a drink but the bar staff proactively pointed out the happy hour which was lovely. There’s a great atmosphere with the music and prices are reasonable too - one of the best bars on the street for me!”
