“We’ve been doing transition visits recently with my 17-month-old daughter, and I truly appreciate the teachers here. They are patient, sensitive to each child’s needs and interests, and always respond with love and understanding. After the first two hours I left my daughter with the teachers, she came back home singing Brown Bear! Since then, every time she arrives at the centre, Teacher Wilma shows her the goldfish she loves, and Teacher Chloe sings Brown Bear with her—creating a warm, consistent, and welcoming atmosphere. Each time during pick-up, I can see how well the teachers know my daughter—her likes and dislikes, and her little habits. Even though we’ve only been here for two weeks, I can already see a genuine relationship and attachment forming between her and the teachers. I feel so thankful and blessed to have chosen this place.”

“One of the best regional parks - you can have sea, mountain and birds with stunning views. The playground was super fun for kids while most people coming here for surfing or see the garnet colony. It’s a paradise for bird lovers or photographers. This is a perfect for capturing the West Coast sunset!”

“Awesome place to take the kids! The playground has way more features than your average playground. It has some cool gym machines alongside the playground which are good for teenagers and under. Also has a flying fox which is safe for young kids to use - even by themselves. It would seem that the local community looks after the playground as it's always kept clean. There is little-to-none vandalism and it is free for anyone inside the community to use.”

“Great park for families, would reccomend bringing skateboard or scooter(be respectful to Older skaters tho) and a tog n towel for the kids as the park has a cool water feature too.”

“Really nice park. They are as of 13/07 they are repairing the basketball hoops so you can't play but the netball hoops are still working and they haven't closed those off. There is a lot of plants and trees and open space, saw a couple of rainbow lorikeets which was pretty cool. The only thing they need is a dog bowl connected to the water fountain. Apart from that it's great.”

“A hidden gem at the boarder of mount roskill. Great park great club great rugby plays and a great playground. Enjoy a walk around the park this is hard to find”

“I use this community hall often for communit events. It has road parking and disable access. The kitchen is ok, good for warming things.”

“Cornwall Park looks absolutely stunning during cherry blossom season! The trees are full of delicate pink blooms, and it’s such a peaceful, scenic place to walk around or take photos. However, it can get very crowded on weekends with lots of people doing photoshoots. I’d suggest visiting on a weekday or early morning if you want a quieter experience and better photos. Definitely worth the visit!”

“I’ve taken my kids to Auckland Adventure Park a few times and they absolutely love the luge and the 4D cinema! It’s a fantastic place for children aged 4 through to teens. For younger kids—especially those in preschool and primary school—it’s an amazing venue for birthday parties. Their castle-themed party room is a real highlight, perfect for children who love medieval and knight-themed adventures. For older kids, the zipline and VR games offer plenty of excitement too. Highly recommended for a fun family day out or a memorable birthday celebration!”

“This one gave me a very clean and warm impression. The teachers who take care of the children are very responsible! There are a lot of toys for the children. It is very clean and spacious. It is not like some old kindergartens that get dirty after a long time. In short, the children are happy and I feel relieved. I recommend it~~”

“This was the best place we have ever left our cat, Debby is fantastic with animals and looked after Crystal so well she didn’t want to leave when we went to collect her. When she got home she was so relaxed, she was in there for almost 4 weeks, can’t say enough at how good they are, highly recommended”

“Stayed at Mineral Park Motel on a weekend away, it was the best experience for a long long time. Anna was very kind and helpful, very patient on answering all our questions. The room was sparking clean, had everything we needed. Secluded and quiet location, perfect if you wish to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life yet it is not too far away. The highlight was the mineral spa, we thoroughly enjoyed in soaking in the hot tub, washes away all the stress and and tiredness, felt so relaxed afterwards. Thumbs up to the team at Mineral Park Motel, look forward to come back again.”

“Great rest home and hospital for us, and the only Chinese rest home and hospital in Auckland. We are well informed of my dad's progress, staffs there are friendly and helpful, and keep us informed of the patient's situation all the time. My dad never had any complaints about the services he received, so we are happy with them.”

“Have lived here since 2021 and it's not at all bad from what others may say. This place helps out people in need and it's definitely not a boring time here lol people tend to keep to themselves but also there's a community here too. The owner Brad is very welcoming and this place helps people stay off the streets so definitely recommend for short or long term stays.”

“Great playground for the kids at a wonderful beach park. Plenty of grounds for picnics or gatherings. Clean bathrooms and changing rooms. The beach is excellent for walking or swimming.”

“Over looking the Huia bay, this picturesque lookout offers a breathtaking sight of the backwaters in the Waitakere region. A short yet lovely escape place from the city. Ideal to visit in the evenings with friends and family , right before sunset. Visiting this place is totally free of cost with ample parking space available. For groups visiting with toddlers and children below age of 10, it’s better to be careful and monitor while walking towards the viewing deck thought the railings are quite high.”

“I love this place and we pretty much play every wednesday. Cricket, Soccer, Basket ball. Drinks also available 4 places in total. Very economical and staff is friendly.”
