Great customer service, very attentive.The food was delicious, I had the pie (steak and Gunness) and hubby had the steak schnitzel both with mash and the pie with peas and gravy, highly recommend for food and a drink. The atmosphere was lovely very calm and not to loud easy to hold a conversation. Thank you for a lovely couple of hours.
Lovely cosy warm atmosphere and delicious meals! The staff were lovely & attentive too. We had the mince beef pasty with gravy peas & carrots and the steak & Guinness pie with gravy, peas & mash. Lemon curd pudding for dessert. Just heavenly. On a cold, blustery spring evening, this was a welcoming end to the day. Give it a go!
The staff and chef were awesome. Lovely young team. Best dory and chips with delicious salad & vinaigrette. Simple food cooked perfectly. Price super reasonable. Thank you so much to the girl who served us (European accent) and the chef, who went out of his way.
We really enjoyed The Featherston. The staff were very attentive, the meals are great value and appear to be of good quality, and there are a good amount of options on the menu. The restaurant was quite quiet, in terms of diners, on a Monday night after 7:30, which was nice; however, the music could have been a bit quieter (it wasn't as bad as some places though). We'd definitely come here again!
Really nice place! We came for the Women’s World Cup and were so happy to find this pub! They put down a big screen to show the games and put the sound on. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff! The other customers were all really nice as well. Good food. Highly recommend!!
Good quality Sunday roast and huge delicious Yorkshire Pudding!
Look the food quality is onpar with what you would find at any other pub. The portions were on the small side, which left me still hungry afterwards. The service and atmosphere were amazing.
Love the Yorkshire and the roast beef! Came here with friends for a quick dinner and catch -up but end up enjoying the time here. The food is yummy, choices of drinks are abundant, staff is friendly and the service is quick! We tried jacket potato, the yorkshire, steak, toasties (the sourdough toast is super good!), and cheese cake for the dessert. I also had pumpkin soup and scones. Love them all. The place is also strategically located with easy spot for parking.
