Checked in late last evening for 3 night stay. Self-checkin was very simple. My room is simple and fantastic with a charming balcony. Hotel manager is very kind and attentive. Separate private bathroom is just outside my room and very clean and spacious. I highly recommend this quaint little gem of a hotel!
Went for a weekend stay and really enjoyed it. Reception was so friendly and kind - really keen on helping and checked on us whenever we passed by. Location was convenient and we found lots of decent restaurants and great shopping just a few minutes walk away. The room was very clean which put me at ease.
Perfect for an overnight transit stay. The price was reasonable for the room and shared bathroom. Loved the artwork outside, can't miss the building. The owner/manager was extremely helpful.
Our party of 5 split a three-room suite, what seemed like an apartment previously to being rented as rooms. The suite was quite clean and spacious with a full kitchen, and check-in was quick and easy even though we arrived later in the evening. The place is super walkable to lots of restaurants, cafes and bars/pubs while still feeling like it's on a much quieter side street. Would stay here again gladly.
Myself, my partner and my friend and her partner all stayed here for a weekend away, we booked a queen suite and king suite with bathrooms, they were right next door to eachother which was great! They were spacious, clean and cozy, a great room for what we paid, location was great and the parking right outside was fabulous. The owner was super lovely and accomodating and we all really enjoyed our stay. They allowed for late check in which was amazing since we travelled 5 hrs to get there! We would all reccomend and would definitely stay here again!
Completely fine place to stay. Beds are adequately comfy, bathroom is clean and spacious (though shared), but not great temperature control for the room and the TV is in a spot where we can't watch from bed.
We enjoyed our stay at Uboutique Hotel in Wellington. The rooms were clean and cozy, although maybe a little chilly in August. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were given a late checkout when we asked. The complimentary breakfast baskets were a nice addition with good healthy options. We didn't have our rooms serviced during our stay but didn't need this. Location is great for walking around the city.
Overall stay was ok. The photos look a lot better then it was. Unfortunately we both had a bad night sleep and woke up very stiff from the mattress and pillows. Also no elevator so be aware of carrying bags up narrow stairs. We got the room with the hot tub but upon opening it was overwhelmed by the chlorine smell and didn’t feel safe getting in. The bathroom was small. Overall it was ok, if it was cheaper we would feel better about our stay. The location was great.
We loved our short stay at U Boutique Hotel. Our room was very spacious, the furniture was modern and very comfortable. There was a full kitchen so we could cook a few meals. The location was convenient to explore all the main sights downtown. Maybe we got lucky and got an upgrade, but we had tons of space and could've definitely stayed longer! Highly recommend visiting the Te Papa museum which is nearby and free
