   I wanted to share some feedback about our booking on 23/12, as the experience didn’t go as smoothly as expected. I originally made the booking on 11/12 for my birthday and received an email from Treion saying everything was booked and that a confirmation email would follow. Unfortunately, that confirmation never came through. I emailed again on 20/12 to change the time from 2pm to 3pm, and someone replied (no name) confirming it had been updated. When we arrived on the day, there was no booking under my name. The staff member assisting us asked us to wait 15 minutes, then another 15 minutes, before we were eventually given a lane upstairs. While we appreciated being accommodated, the downstairs lanes had a better vibe, and this could have been avoided if the booking had been properly confirmed—especially since this was booked ahead of time for my birthday. We were also asked if the kids needed bumpers and confirmed that two of them did, but the game started without bumpers, so we had to follow up again. On top of that, we ordered food, but after playing for a while we realized the order hadn’t been added, so we had to check in about that as well. Overall, there were a few things that required follow-ups that took away from what should’ve been a relaxed birthday booking. I just wanted to share this feedback so it can be improved moving forward.

   Strike Entertainment Centre in Alicetown, Lower Hutt, proved to be the perfect spot for a casual work social event. My colleagues and I dropped in for bowling and drinks, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. The first standout feature? No need to swap shoes for clunky rentals—a refreshing and convenient change! The 18 automated bowling lanes were smooth and glitch-free, making our game hassle-free and competitive in the best way. But Strike isn’t just about bowling. The revamped centre is impressively expansive, offering something for all tastes: an arcade packed with games, a Lazer Strike arena, and even an R18 gaming zone for adults wanting to unwind. While we didn’t sample the food menu, the variety of options adds to the appeal for longer visits. Whether you’re planning a team outing, a family day, or a night with friends, Strike’s mix of entertainment and laid-back vibes hits the mark. A solid choice for anyone craving fun without the fuss!

   Not impressed! The staff were very unaware of correct customer service protocol. Our booking was stuffed up and the blame was put on us instead of the staff taking ownership of their mistakes! Not to mention we were unable to play in the arcade due to the fact they had no arcade cards!

   Kids had an amazing birthday party playing laser tag. We have kids 2yrs through to 8yrs and they all enjoyed it (and parents got to go in to supervise little one). Kids loved it. Highly reccomend this place.
