“Reading some of the reviews below is so sad to see. I moved to churton park medical when doctor Rachel moved from Johnsonville 10+yrs ago. I’ve seen a few doctors there but Dr Tim is by far the most personable, honest, caring, open to ideas doctor I’ve ever had. I feel SO lucky to have snapped him up as my doctor. I’ve seen other doctors for when Tim has been busy and 9/10 they are spot on for me too. Tim takes great pride in his practice (along with his wife ) I’ve never felt judged, I’ve never felt unheard and I’ve never felt crazy. The nurses are also incredibly kind. I highly recommend churton park medical.”

“I've been going a long time and my first doctors was, I'm my opinion, really incompetent. My MS went undiagnosed for years because he thought I was making it to get drugs. I WASN'T. Then Dr Werry came along and diagnosed it in a week along with diabetes. He retire and now have Harry who is REALLY great too. He listens and treats holistically and is really easy to talk to”

“John Sloane offered very professional and very friendly service to get my current insoles adjusted. He was able to modify them while I waited instead of spending a lot of money on new insoles. The assessment was very thorough and the insole adjustments made a big difference. Highly recommend John to anyone with foot or posture issues, running, cycling or any other sports.”

“I've been using Port Nicholson Medical Centre for over a year now and I've been extremely happy with my experiences there. The reception staff are always super helpful and friendly, as well as the on site nurse. I can't speak for all the practitioners there, but I've only had positive interactions with my own doctor, Dr. Jan Barrett, who is always open to hear my concerns and empathetic to my needs. “I came across Central Health Clinic from Grabone, was at the time trying to find a place to fix my back injury which happened over a year ago. I had seen quite many clinics, you name it in town, but never was able to get my back totally fixed - the remaining 20% was just so hard to get it away and I lost confidence from time to time. This clinic - it is definitely not the best appealing place, I agree with some of the reviewers. But this is not what I went to this clinic for. The clinician - David is not a talkative person, but very professional The treatments - I found my back starting to become better after 3 -4 sessions, which I have not experienced before. The session - it is about a couple of needles, bone adjustments and clinical massage. But you will be surprised how much these treatments can help your body, a typical 40-50minute session is well enough. Like all other treatments, things are not going to get better until a treatment period, typically 5-10 sessions. This clinic is not about selling massage service as some are after, it is a clinic good at treating body pains, injuries or other health issues. I have no hesitation to recommend it to you if you are after a genuine traditional Chinese clinic to help you improve your health condition. Many thanks to David and all the best to everyone!”

“Receptionist is kind, spoken gentle tone with heaps of help about enquiring for my little pēpi. Tamariki Ora nurse checked in on us when pēpi was born for its check ups. Doctor for another reason also kind and gave us positive feedback. I recommend whānau to enroll here.”

I’m always surprised by how quick, accurate, and thorough her work is. She really listens, explains things clearly, and makes you feel cared for. I also saw Dr. Carl, the women’s health doctor, and had such a great experience. She made me feel completely comfortable, talked me through everything step by step, and turned something I was preparing for the worst into a calm, non-traumatic process. Truly grateful for her care. “My family and I have all been patients of Dr Patterson for nearly 30 years and we have always found Dr Patterson and Kopata to be an excellent practitioner and medical centre. Dr Patterson always takes the time to listen to our health concerns and never rushes us out the door. I find Dr Patterson to be very personable and he’s great with my toddler. We’ve also found the nurses to be very kind too.”

Nikesh, who I currently see, goes above and beyond his duties and is very comfortable to discuss issues with. I have never had problems with the reception. I have always found them professional.”

“I have had 3 visits recently for what is now seen as a bulging disc but was initially diagnosed as a lumbar area muscular- ligamentous injury. The staff on 2 visits were exceptional. The nursing staff demonstrated care alongside good sound clinical judgement. The medical staff were great, communicative and supportive esp on my first visit. I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. I was still in pain, but it had settled with medication action, I felt supported by the time I left. Even though I'm a nurse they were careful to explain detail to me, all while accepting my input and perceived needs. I highly recommend this service if you're in need urgently but don't sense the need for ED.”
