Would not recommend visiting if you have any mental health issues. I have been at this practice my whole life, I'm 25 now, and they're decent with physical health but I get the impression they would rather you take yourself out back than actually help with your mental health if you catch my drift. I have seen my current GP there since I was 15, and a decade later she is still mismanaging my sevre mental health condition. I have emailed a complaint to the reception and will be making a formal complaint with the Health and Disability Commissioner, but I wanted to warn other people, especially vulnerable young people, to stay away if you have any mental health conditions.

This place is crap making kids sit outside in the cold useless things need to be sorted there on the asap. As far as I'm concerned they should be shut down.

Friendly, helpful/courteous, professional - couldn't really fault them. Have been with them for almost 20 years, and never had a problem - have dealt with all my needs admirably.

Good place with parking outside. Across the road from pharmacy. Handy to the Main Road Tawa for shops and cafes.

Very helpful staff. Can get very busy at times. I believe all visits are by appointment though.

I was mistreated, judged and misdiagnosed by a doctor at this practice, Dr Brandon Casserly. After 10 years of being mislead and ignored, I found a new GP and had my notes transferred. After having seen the horrid judgemental things he wrote and how he labeled me from day one, I was left in total shock. The worst part is that his blatant negligence in misdiagnosis and dismissal of my issues has left me fighting to keep my ability to walk, which SHOULD have been easily prevented. It was an easy single consultation diagnosis elsewhere after finally going to a new GP that actually cares. Edit: Wow, their response tried to imply I was never a patient of theirs? That is just wrong in so many ways. No I do not use my real name on public forums such as this, not many folk do. It doesn't change anything that happened. I did not use their internal complaints system as I never wish to be ignored or dismissed like that again, the headaches wouldn't be worth it and frankly I was done with being mistreated. This review was the best thing I ever did, I stuck up for myself to hopefully help others. I wish they would learn from it instead of make excuses or dodge the issues.

It's alright I haven't seen my actual doctor in years. They over book themselves resulting in it being hard to get an actual booking when something is wrong. They're always late. Thankfully they have dropped their prices so it's more affordable than it has been. Community services cards are just worthless they won't give you anything for them. So if you can't afford the payment... Well do you really need both your legs? They add interest to their bills if you can't pay they increase the amount making it even harder. They are pretty nice and often do forgive the interest but with how extremely busy they are I'm not sure why they haven't lengthen their operating hours or opened another centre to refer the overload to. This ended up more negative than I expected it to.

I've received nothing but care, compassion and understanding from this practice. They deal with people at their most unwell either mentally and physically. It's an intense, stressful role for the front facing reception & customer services team, in an extremely busy practice. And I am always grateful for the chat, or the help, or the laugh they still manage to rustle up. Now. My doctor. Dr Brandon Casserly. The guy is the most compassionate, patient, thorough and incredibly humane doctor you'll meet. His warmth and sense of humour are matched only by his incredible intelligence and his ability to assess a health problem swiftly and the multi faceted approach he takes to healing/tackling it. If you're looking for an ego here, best look elsewhere. If you're looking for someone with a heart of gold, and an extremely sharp brain, he's your man. Thank you very much from the bottom of my bottom, to each and every one of you.

My doctor is great although I have never ever had an appointment on time here for all the years I’ve been with them. They run at least 20 minutes late and that is on a good day. Usually it will be 30-45 minutes in my experience which I sit through anyway as getting an appointment takes weeks. I still arrive on time. Today was especially frustrating as reception neglected to check me in despite asking for my appointment details as I arrived. It took me a while to actually ask as I am used to waiting so long. An hour and a half waiting waiting for nothing. If I could rate lower than 1 star I would.
