The service was very bad, the doctor was not listening well, and she just keep ignoring my question. I asked her some specific and she ignored them and kept talking. The doctor who I was appointed with just seemed very rude and unprofessional. I would recommend going to any other medical centre
Churton Park Medical Care is amazing. Everyone is incredibly helpful and efficient, and getting an appointment is a breeze. My GP, Dr Sarma, is the best doctor I've ever had. I feel incredibly lucky to have found him and would recommend him and the practice unreservedly.
Excellent medical centre. New, clean, bright and friendly staff. Easy to get an appointment. Highly professional and caring doctors who listen carefully and provide a superior service. The nurses reflect the same levels of care and service. Streamline prescription service. Very children friendly facility with lots of options to keep them entertained. I have not experienced better care or service.
worst medical care i've ever received on more than one ocassion. i've never felt worse than the times i have left this medical centre- whether it be by being treated incorrectly or by being spoken to in a patronizing, hurtful manner. go to literally any other medical centre in wellington.
Reading some of the reviews below is so sad to see. I moved to churton park medical when doctor Rachel moved from Johnsonville 10+yrs ago. I’ve seen a few doctors there but Dr Tim is by far the most personable, honest, caring, open to ideas doctor I’ve ever had. I feel SO lucky to have snapped him up as my doctor. I’ve seen other doctors for when Tim has been busy and 9/10 they are spot on for me too. Tim takes great pride in his practice (along with his wife ) I’ve never felt judged, I’ve never felt unheard and I’ve never felt crazy. The nurses are also incredibly kind. I highly recommend churton park medical.
Dr. Rachel has been our family doctor for years. She is a very experienced doctor who also listens to our concerns.
Dr May Tun is such a great doctor. She has been super thorough, investigates everything, and is really lovely with it.

If there was a rating of zero star, that would be my choice. I went in with a face mask on today to get a hard copy of their enrolment form for new patients. The receptionist asked if I have any cold or flu symptoms and I answered yes honestly. She immediately asked me to leave without any further questions like if I have been in contact with people with covid etc. I don't have covid. I said to her I have a mask on. She said I still need to leave right away, regardless. She then told me to print out the enrolment form from their website and return or drop it off when I feel better. When I feel better, I won't be needing your service, hon. When I visit a supermarket with a face mask on, no one turns me away. When I visit a public library with a face mask on, no one turns me away. When I visit a medical clinic like this one, where I needed the most help of, I got turned away. Was this how you practiced prior covid? Are you so paranoid that nowadays you guys just don't treat people with cold or flu? I left feeling totally judged and discriminated against. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who needs true care.
One particular doctor at Churton Park Medical Care, who shall remain unnamed, lacks empathy and has difficulty listening to her patients. The treatment I received here put me in a downward spiral for many years and I improved drastically when my symptoms were taken seriously by a more competent doctor. Do yourself a favour and seek a younger doctor with an open mind and an in-check ego.
