Ive had consultations with a range of doctors at this clinic. Simply the worst medical service ive experienced. Doctors do not listen and feels like throwing $80 into the fire each appointment. Save the yourself the pain and go literally anywhere else.

The receptionists here are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely keen to help β such a great first impression every time. Dr. Megan, my GP, is amazing. Iβm always surprised by how quick, accurate, and thorough her work is. She really listens, explains things clearly, and makes you feel cared for. I also saw Dr. Carl, the womenβs health doctor, and had such a great experience. She made me feel completely comfortable, talked me through everything step by step, and turned something I was preparing for the worst into a calm, non-traumatic process. Truly grateful for her care. Highly recommend this clinic!

Terrible Service at Wellington Central Medical Centre. Wellington Central Medical is a complete joke. They have two receptionists and one doctor, yet canβt manage simple scheduling. There is a high turnover of Doctors with no notice. You get a rushed 15-minute consultation for $85, with limits on how many issues you can raise. Receptionists are cold and roboticβno greeting, just βWhatβs your name?β They expect clients to be on time or early, yet keep you waiting with no explanation or apology, as if we donβt have other things to do or places to be. At the time of my appointment, the doctor took another patient first with zero notice. I ended up leaving without being seen because I had other commitments planned around this appointment, expecting them to be on time. I sat waiting clueless in an empty clinic while they clearly mismanage their time. A previous doctor just Googled my symptoms, printed a fact sheet, and prescribed a topical ointment that could worsen the problem. No real care or effort. Avoid this place if you want actual medical care and respect. Would give it a zero star if I could.

EDIT: Attitude still an issue with whoever calls from reception to tell you about your blood results. When you ask a question itβs so obvious by the tone of the caller it annoys them. Itβs part of your role so please calm down. Very rude receptionist I had today, like she would rather be doing something else then interact with clients. Lacks respect and I felt very unwelcome. Talked down to me. Definitely lacks the compassion and just simple kindness that is needed in a medical centre which Iβve never experienced in any other medical centre previously. I encourage the young blonde woman to at the very least look at people in the eye when talking to them and throw in a smile because thatβs what youβre there for and getting paid to do. Receptionists are the first to interact with clients and so itβs a real shame that this young woman created an unwelcoming atmosphere. Paying $76 and on top of it getting the negative attitude from the blonde receptionist is not on. Definitely an attitude makeover required. The previous reviews from 2 years ago saying the receptionists are nice is definitely referring to someone else I can tell you that much.

Great doctors, but Zero empathy from the Frontline staff who had their heart replaced with a potato. It's a pity that only medical practitioners take an oath to Do No Harm. Goodbye WLG. Not coming back.

Dr Tan immediately dismissed my dehydration symptoms and said it's absolutely NOT a possibility that I am dehydrated because my pulse and gums are fine. I then decided to finally just head to the ER where they in fact said I am not retaining fluid correctly and need to come in for a drip. They said this actually happens frequently when you suffer significant water loss due to electrolyte imbalances. The lady took me very seriously, unlike Tan who was clearly gravely WRONG. They also proceeded to say that Dr Tan's method of checking my gums and pulse and then saying I'm not dehydrated is actually only valuable for someone at a 10%+ loss, who would soon go into a coma/die. It does not work for mild or ongoing dehydration. A simple google search proves chronic dehydration is a real phenomena but Tan firmly disagrees because in his words "he didn't learn it in medical school and chronic dehydration is not a real thing in Western Medicine". Dr Tan also believes that nausea, muscle weakness, thirst, brain fog, dry mouth, constipation and headaches are not symptoms of dehydration/electrolyte imbalances, even after you experience severe diarrhea. It's well known by anyone with half a brain that they are precisely the exact symptoms of dehydration and google would immediately alert you if you searched. Absolutely horrific and dangerous to dismiss ongoing dehydration. What a nightmare!!! Don't bother with Mr Tan- you will likely die under his watch. He will simply look at you like you are a complete fool. I will never return to this centre again. Dr Tan should have his license revoked for endangering patients. I would give zero stars if I could. Luckily I did not pay a cent. (I will say the 2 girls at reception are warm and friendly but they were the only helpful things in the centre). I will be reporting Dr Tan to the DHB.

They have a very polite and helpful service and the Doctor is fast and quality care to the patient and listens to the patient professionally, I m talking to Cliff Young because of my GP but I think the other Doctor is the same because my daughter recommended it to us, she is same patient here just the other Doctors.

Reception were very friendly and helpful - Managed to squeeze me in to be seen as a casual client. Would be a 5 stars but not use to paying $110.00 for a 15 minute consult. Dr. Jacob however, was very professional and friendly, willingness to help in any way he could to help.
