I had an ear infection and was given antibiotics and ear drops. Since neither worked I went to an ear clinic for wax removal, where they advised me to go back to GP and get a swab to identify what's exactly the issue. I booked another appointment with Dr. Lorraine Smith and got a text a day before that she'll be doing only phone consultations. I refused it since I needed the swab but she called me anyway. The call didn't last more than 3 minutes and she offered to prescribe me another antibiotics before I get an appointment. Those didn't work either. I got charged $80 and since I refused to pay for the consultation, only the prescription, I wasn't allowed to make another appointment unless I pay what I owe. This behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. No decency, no will to help, pure money making.

I've been using Port Nicholson Medical Centre for over a year now and I've been extremely happy with my experiences there. The reception staff are always super helpful and friendly, as well as the on site nurse. I can't speak for all the practitioners there, but I've only had positive interactions with my own doctor, Dr. Jan Barrett, who is always open to hear my concerns and empathetic to my needs. Would highly recommend Port Nicholson Medical to anyone looking for a great practice.

Dr Barrett is the best GP I've ever had and she's been fantastic to work with, went above and beyond, very sad to be moving away. Incredibly trans friendly practice, too Lynda was also always lovely to deal with. My only feedback would be that requesting repeat prescriptions through the website is a little cumbersome and I'd prefer for it to go through the ManageMyHealth app.

The Doctors, Nurses and allied staff here are amazing, but everyone Iβve spoken with has no end of trouble with the receptionist Lynda who is rude, condescending and unprofessional. Would be 5 stars rather than 2 otherwise.

Bad experience, I have been a year and a half in this Heath care and I saw a new doctor on each appointment. I paid $75 for my baby check up (5 minutes) when it is supposed to be for free for babies.

DONT GO THERE !!! I paid 95$ for one call from the doctor(5minutes), and he give me the good remedy but not for enough time, so I'm still sick, and I have to pay again 95$ for the same prescription. Good business for the center. The secretary wasn't trying to help me and don't listen the patient..

I have been to Port Nicholson several times for myself and my children in the last year. I find the staff and doctors warmly professional. The care they provided has always been excellent and detailed. I pay out of pocket as an ex pat working here but have found the rates much less comparable to doctors of the same caliber in the States. I highly recommended Port Nicholson, in particular, Dr. Trish Reeves who is simply wonderful!
