“This was the nicest hotel from our holiday in NZ. From the moment we stepped in the door, service was excellent. Having a laundry machine in the room was a huge bonus to refresh our suitcase. Location was wonderful; we only walked a few minutes to get anywhere. Highly recommended hotel in Wellington!”

“Highly recommend staying at Sojourn Apartment Hotel Riddiford. We were very impressed with the amenities, location, cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff that we dealt with during our stay. We stayed in the Petite Double internal room, and this particular Petite Double has a table and chairs set which was great for getting some remote work done on the trip. The room was very well equipped with everything we needed and the Nespresso machine was definitely one of my favourite features. The internal room was very quiet, and the location was perfect, right opposite Wellington Hospital, with a bus stop right outside making for easy access around the city. We would definitely love to stay again.”

“Great spot. Rooms are dark and cozy. Comfy beds. Great in-room amenities incl free drinks and snacks. Ice machine and laundry facilities available for guests on level 3. Friendly service. Location is handy to vibrant Cuba Street with plenty of eateries near the hotel.”

“We had a wonderful time here. It's a beautiful building, well set out. The hosts were enthusiastically helpful and the free breakfast was generous. I appreciated the evidence of sustainable practice, including the basket of free-range eggs during breakfast. My bed was surprisingly comfortable. It's a unique venue and a delight to stay in, but Noah and the other staff were the real stars of the experience, truly exceptional!”

“Our room was very fresh and clean. The location is great! Easy walk to the waterfront, TePapa Museum, Red Cable Car, botanical gardens and lots of restaurants, bars, eateries and coffee shops. It was a perfect location for our 2 nights in Wellington. The front office staff were also friendly and helpful. They ordered a car service to help us get to the ferry on our departing morning.”

“What a wonderful place to stay in Wellington. We stayed here for two nights and were extremely satisfied. The welcome was warm, and the owners were very friendly. The room had a private bathroom down the hall and a personal fridge in another room. All facilities were adequately provided. The owner joins you for breakfast in the morning, which always led to enjoyable conversations. The B&B also has a fantastic view of the bay; you're right by the water. We parked our car on the street near the B&B for two nights, which was safe and, of course, cost nothing. To get to Wellington Center, you'll need an Uber or taxi.”

Jane was delightful, helpful in educating us the many highlights of Wellington. If you enjoy hiking, trail to Mount Victoria is right next to her home.”

“Our company sends people to Wellington most months. We find Terrace Villas the most practical place to stay. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. We are easily able to conduct our business from the apartments and the management is ready to help with anything we need - we often hold meetings with our clients and they find the surroundings pleasant and relaxed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They were full of local knowledge and pointed us toward some fantastic nearby attractions, which really enhanced our visit. The location was perfect — close to plenty of activities and great places to explore, all within easy walking distance. We also thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel; the food was outstanding and truly one of the highlights of our stay. “We LOVED this cottage - what a find!! We've been living in Wellington for years and never knew about it, so now, returning as visitors, we were absolutely stoked - great facilities, vibe, and location for the price. Actually surprisingly quiet too, considering the main road behind the cottage. Would recommend for someone wanting to be super central, but have a cosy feel and autonomy to make their own food.”

“We spent a night at the motel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was an affordable and comfortable option. Spare blankets were available,the sheets were of a good quality and the room was warm. We slept peacefully and I love the country setting. A nice swimming pool is available which would be fun to use in the warmer months. It was a great location for us being near the Cape Palliser Lighthouse,the Pinnacles and Lake Ferry. The hosts were friendly and told us about things we could see and do. Hopefully we can return next year!”

“Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. The rooms are extremely comfortable in the pool. Deck is very modern and beautiful. We had to catch a late flight and they were super accommodating and allowed us to stay at the hotel until 2:00 p.m. for no extra charge.”

“It was an amazing final stop on North Island, we travelled by car from Auckland. Fully equipped room incl washing and drying machine, was a bless. Fully equipped kitchen if you'd like to cook during holiday time. Breakfast has some options however there's no coffee machine or veggie options. It's really close to historical/government city part.”

“Easy check-in. The room was very nice with a retro style. The bathroom was HUGE, the shower was a great size with a fold down seat and a washer / dryer combo machine. The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa is a 5 min walk and a must visit to see the Gallipoli: The Scale of Our War exhibition. Lots of restaurants close by! Parking can be tough to find!”

“This hotel is absolutely lovely! It is comfortable, light, modern and the staff is super friendly. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances. It's not very close to the city centre, but close to the ferry, so that's very nice if you have to board at seven in the morning.”

“We had a very enjoyable stay at the Glimer Apartment Hotel. Very nice room, had everything we needed and the king size bed was amazingly comfortable. Although situated on a hilly area, it was very easy to get to Courtenay place by elevator and escalators. I would recommend.”
