Great location and customer service, the owner is friendly and accommodating. Stayed in a studio room, which was really spacious and had a sizeable kitchen and bathroom. Obviously being a villa on The Terrace it’s a bit dated, but kept tidy and clean. The reception is not open 24/7 but the staff are very responsive.
Terrace Villas Serviced Apartments is made up of a number of properties along The Terrace, Wellington. I stayed in a spacious and very comfortable one bedroom apartment at 202 The Terrace during a recent trip. It had everything needed for an enjoyable visit, including a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. A balcony was a bonus with this apartment! Within a walking distance to all the attractions and harbour. Great base from which to experience all that Wellington has to offer and to rest and relax after a day exploring. Thanks to the friendly front office team of Gavin and Duane who were very helpful in organising my booking and answered any queries in a prompt manner. Recommend booking directly to get the best deals. Note that The Terrace is located above the Wellington CBD so be prepared to walk up sloping footpaths and/or lots of stairs (e.g. to/from Charles Street) to return from the city centre.
202 terrace: Nice high ceilings, self contained really nice apartment. Got a car park as well. Very friendly staff. Able to walk every where in the city. Took the short cut....Went down and up the 143 steps to Dixon street, who needs to take the easy way!? After a few beers...Can you do it!? I did! Phew!!

Clean, homely, practical and well equipment apartment fully furnished with all that you need to make your stay comfortable. We stayed in a two bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen and living unit with a large back deck facing greens. We were deciding between a hotel or apartment and was not disappointed. The unit Includes great electric heating, hair dryer, bedding, kitchen utensils, crockery, towels, tea towels, coffee, tea, shampoo, soap, smart tv entertainment, good wifi, comfy couches and beds, washing machine, dryer, dishwashing machine, and the list goes on. Cleaning and change of bedding is weekly by friendly and polite staff. As a seasoned traveller I really couldn’t fault the place. No wonder it’s a place visiting film crews and diplomats stay when looking for long haul stays in Wellington. Duane and Gavin and their team in Terrace Villa are impeccable in their service and efficient in getting things done (one call to front desk and they’re at your door in a jiffy if they’re not too busy or otherwise any queries are addressed within the day). Location is 10 minutes walking distance to supermarket, yoga, restaurants, cafe, Cuba St, shops, city Centre, doctor, etc. Stayed for a month and was reluctant to leave- really miss that green park view at the back balcony (smack bang in the middle of the CBD) and the sound of the cicadas. Will definitely come back and would highly recommend!
Great looking apartment Beautiful layout however..... Main bedroom is roadside so feels like traffic is in the room. Upstairs tenants sounds like a zumba class. Non stop knocking from pipes.

Our company sends people to Wellington most months. We find Terrace Villas the most practical place to stay. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. We are easily able to conduct our business from the apartments and the management is ready to help with anything we need - we often hold meetings with our clients and they find the surroundings pleasant and relaxed.
