This is the first place we check for availability when we are coming to Wellington. The location is perfect, right on Cuba st but very quiet as it’s tucked away. The bed is beautifully comfortable, the shower is amazing, the hospitality and communication is tops
This was the 3rd time we have stayed at the Cottages; our absolute favourite place for a weekend in Wellington. Great location for a city break, well maintained and cute cottages with comfy beds (and fabulous pillows), well laid out and equipped with everything you need for a couple of days in the city. Love the generous amount of teabags and the cookie jar! Awesome service when booking/re-booking/messing about due to Covid cancellations... Thanks once again Jeff & Dean - we'll be back!
Excellent position and very nicely appointed cottage with everything you need for a short stay. Good kitchenette again with everything you need to cook . The location is excellent right at the start of Cuba Street and walking distance to everything the city has to offer.
Fantastic stay I highly recommend the Wellington City Cottages! Very cute inside, perfect for a couple or like us a family of three. Roll out bed worked perfectly for our daughter. The location however is next level for the beer connoisseur or the foodie or the music lover. Less than one minute and you are standing in HeyDay brewery. A few minutes and you are in the center of Cuba Streets awesome vibe. Great value apartment with so much to do and explore. We will be back.
The room was quiet and comfortable and very clean absolutely superb location. We were just using it as a transit on our journey but next time we may make it the destination. It is a fantastic location right in town and it had free parking. We were able to let ourselves in late at night off the Ferry which was really helpful for tired travellers. The character of the place alone was amazing, these really cute little cottages. Thanks guys!
We LOVED this cottage - what a find!! We've been living in Wellington for years and never knew about it, so now, returning as visitors, we were absolutely stoked - great facilities, vibe, and location for the price. Actually surprisingly quiet too, considering the main road behind the cottage. Would recommend for someone wanting to be super central, but have a cosy feel and autonomy to make their own food.
Many thanks for the use of your lovely historic cottage. We so enjoyed our stay there and in Wellington. The location was fantastic, we just parked the car and walked everywhere! Regarding any suggestions...maybe a hand towel and bath mat would be great. And maybe some salt and pepper. Otherwise just perfect! We will be returning hopefully before the end of the year or early next year and rent both units for friends to join us.
