“This was my first time dining at Loretta and dining at a restetaunt in general, as I get incredibly nervous eating out due to my allergies, but it was a fantastic experience!!! The staff were so lovely and accommodating towards my allergies – Ruby and Anna were incredible – tripple checking everything to make sure it's safe. “My partner and I usually go out once a month for dinner to restaurants around Wellington and we were delighted with this place! I have a gluten intolerance and the staff member that served us was super accommodating! I absolutely loved the cocktails, I had a tropical one with an ice block and a toasted marshmallow screwer. My partner had a yellow curry and I had the Bangkok Street Noodles and they even gave me some peanut sauce as I could have soy sauce and it went perfectly well with it! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be back! Thanks for a great night and experience!”

“Visited the Greek Food Truck outside the railway station a couple of weeks ago after hearing good things. And let you know if I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the chicken souvlaki, which tasted incredible. Staff here were also super friendly. Will definitely be back again for a tasty Greek meal!”

“We came for the cheap prices but would return for the food and coffee! Wasn't expecting much but our Eggs Benedict's were very decent homely fare and the coffee was excellent! It's signage is hidden behind scaffolding at the moment so be sure to look for it even if you can't see the sign! They deserve the business :)”

“The staff here were very friendly and accommodating for my friend and I with our babies and they brought over a high chair for us. The coffee & food was awesome and came out so fast. “Sierra Café on Lambton Quay is a handy little spot tucked away upstairs from the main street, which makes it feel a bit calmer than some of the busier Wellington cafés. The coffee here is solid — my flat white was smooth and strong enough to start the day. I ordered a vegan sandwich, which was creamy and tasty. The cabinet food looked fresh, with muffins, scones, and frittatas that seemed popular with other customers. Service was quick and friendly; even when the café started filling up around lunchtime, my order came out fast. The space has a relaxed, casual vibe and works well for either a quick stop or a longer sit-down. Prices are pocket-friendly. I liked that they cater to different diets with vegetarian and gluten-free options. It’s not the flashiest café in Wellington, but it’s dependable and comfortable. I’d happily come back, especially for breakfast or a mid-morning coffee.”

“This is the best Chinese restaurant we have ever been too. The waiter was lovely and helped us choose some foods that we were undecided about. Very good prices on the meals and just the food quality is amazing. We got the crab and prawns in a chilli sauce and it was some of the best seafood we’ve ever had. We ended up going twice on our 4 day trip because of how good it is”

“Got here and there's only one guy working, alarm bells start ringing. They were NOT warranted. Despite working by himself the guy got our food to us in pretty quick time. The food was spectacular! The wife had the cheese burger with was quite sizeable! I had the Roadhouse burger. Both came with fries which were well cooked. The aioli that came with the fries was super tasty and not just overpowered by garlic. As for the burgers, WOW! Perfectly cooked patties, crunchy coleslaw, tasty sauces. I was joking with the wife that I could have easily eaten the triple Roadhouse to win the cap. I could not have. The patties are huge! The venue? Very comfortable seats well decorated as an American Roadhouse would be. Very happy guy working behind the bar. I can't fault anything about this place. We will definitely be back!!!”

“I like this place. I like it a lot. I didn’t actually eat in but I got the garlic butter cream they sell there and I’ve been using it in my cooking and wow it is so good. The people working there were so nice and awesome and I think as a community we should go here more like it is just a cool awesome spot. Catch me here getting falafel soon.”
