   Absolutely delightful restaurant, came here two nights in a row while visiting from Australia and have to say it’s a strong contender for best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. Adding to that is the beautiful atmosphere and absolutely world class customer service from the staff, who were truly wonderful - thank you guys! Will definitely be back if we visit Wellington again!

   Me and my spouse had a great time there. We were awestruck by the good quality food here, and ate two days in a row here. All of the Indian curries were excellent, the curd was also brilliant in taste. If you are in Wellington then this restaurant is a must visit.

   Second visit while in Wellington for a 3 night stay. Great India is consistently the best curry I’ve had anywhere in NZ or Australia. Hands down. Been coming here for over a decade.

   I ordered my meal through uber eats from Great Indian, “turns out WORST INDIAN’! Ordered chicken tikka masala, 2 Naan breads and chicken biriyani with plain yoghurt. The chicken tikka masala was the worst i hv ever had in newzealand, the chicken biryani had the same hard chicken they used in the chicken tikka masala curry and just been litterally fried with rice. On top of that yoghurt taste the worst. Naan bread was allrite but couldn't enjoy. Not recommended at, if you’re a lover of indian food.

   Very welcoming and amazing service from the team at Great India. The food was well portioned and cooked fresh. A hot towel at the end of the meal is the icing on the cake for me! Will definitely be coming back!

   Went twice in two weeks as was in Wellington both weeks for business. First night was two of us. Food was awesome and fairly priced. Second week was a group of six. They tailored our meals for a group from entrees to mains and it was perfect. So much food for the price. And all of it was tasty. No complaints. Highly recommended.
