Breakfast is Top-Notch and priced decently. Briyani could have been more consistent with Quality. Sometimes Awesome and Loved it. Sometimes bit disappointing.
The biryani from Hyderabadi House Takeaway is really tasty and full of flavour. The portions are good, the price is fair, and it’s great value for money. A perfect place for anyone who loves biryani.

Good food. We got Biryani take away but later on found out that there were no spoons with it. Taste of Biryani was good and it is recommended
Bought Vegetable Biryani, Chicken Biryani and some Samosas. Biryani was so good and Samosas were incredibly amazing. It had fresh potato filling with nice crisp. I am not a regular customer but my experience regarding food was awesome. Deserved 5☆ to chef and owner.
They make good quality stuff...they do use food colouring but it's not as much as some of the other Indian joints. Interesting dishes, the egg plant one is a winner. the Madras chicken 65 was not spicy at all! Sad because I was looking forward to that, instead it was quite plain but it tasted ok. Porottas are well made. This is better than your average Indian takeaway joint and they seem to do interesting menu items compared to others.
Hyderabadi House have started selling breakfast now. Got vada and Mysore bajji. Stone cold and poor taste. The bajji was not cooked through and was pasty inside. The vada was dense and not at all fluffy. When they started the take away it was nice. Now offering too many items and quality has gone down substantially. Best to avoid.
Accidently bought two biriyanis from here thinking it was another restaurant, so I rung them to see if I could get a refund. The kind gentleman was happy to offer me a refund. Appreciate the gesture. Will surely give it a try when we're down in Wellington.
If you need a break from all the North Indian food, this is a must try..Highly recommend the baigan bagara, it’s tangy and has a unique taste..It’s not perfect but still delicious…dum biryani was so flavourful without being overly oily..chicken 65 was good..Best of all was the punctuality of the order albeit the weekend rush…And so affordable
