If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. I went on a Thursday night with 1 other person and we were the only ones there for the whole time. The mixed platter for 2 is great value and the Naan breads we cut up and were massive - also great value. The curries themselves were quite nice. I did ask for a medium though and found it was pretty mild. While the meat in the curries was nice and tender, there were only about 5 or 6 pieces in each one. You typically get more from other places. The service was excellent though and the staff are very friendly. The place was also well decorated and clean. I would recommend removing the large Jim Beam bottle off their drink station though as I feel that it doesn't fit in with the indian theme. Prices also reasonable. Would recommend this place.
There's no way the person packing my takeaway did not see how burnt the naan bread was. The curry was a load of spicy sauce and very dry meat! I'll not be back!
My partner and I ordered the butter Chicken for takeout tonight. The rice was okay, but the Naan we ordered with it was dry and rubbery and the butter chicken tasted like straight tomato paste with some spice in it. To top it off, there was way to much residue water coming from the butter chicken. My partner and I get butter chicken often and decided to try this place tonight and were highly dissatisfied :(
We celebrated a 50th birthday here, the food is always great, staff really helpful and atmosphere very conducive for any event. Highly recommended.
Very satisfying. A good filling meal with no reason to fault it. The decor is bad. It's old and in places looks like it's from a Vietnamese restaurant not an Indian restaurant. And it's worn. But on the positive side it's clean, really clean, and it even smelled clean. Nice service and good value for money.
