   Fantastic place in Wellington! Interior of the cafe is cozy with lots of bright natural light. Lots of available seating. Great options for food - with many homemade baked goods, sandwiches and authentic Vietnamese foods. Service was friendly, helpful, and quick - couldn’t have had a better experience. Loved the feijoa bread (didn’t manage to grab a picture) - highly recommend. If you’re looking for a cute cafe by the water - this is it!

   The staff here were very friendly and accommodating for my friend and I with our babies and they brought over a high chair for us. The coffee & food was awesome and came out so fast. We ordered the full vege grill (don’t mind all that pepper in the photo I did that lol) and the house hash with salmon. I would definitely come back here.

   Been keen to try Black Doris cafe for a while. The food is a fusion Asian and European baking from Vietnamese delicacies to classic eggs Benedict and double fried potato chips. The location of Black Doris is world class on Wellingtons water front. Staff are friendly and efficient

   Gorgeous styly cafe on the wharf with excellent coffee, great counter food and menu for brunch or lunch. Your lovely hosts have both European and Vietnamese delights available - and did I mention, excellent coffee? :) I did, but I'm fussy about coffee and this is great. If you're in the Lambton/Railway/Parliament area - take a walk to the wharf, breathe the fresh sea breeze and get a great coffee and a bite.

   Amazing brunch experience with my partner! Beautiful views over waterfront watching the ships. Staff were very kind and service was quick. Food was INCREDIBLE, we had waffles and the pulled pork sandwich both of which blew our minds. Great value for money too, two mains plus drinks for $48!!! Highly recommend.

   Everything looked super-fresh in their cold cabinet, I purchased a Vanilla Latte and a Ham Sandwhich, both were extremely good. It's less than a 5-minute walk from my job, and offers great views out to the harbour. Coffee was very good, better than most places in the area.

   Lovely cafe and the food was exquisite, except from the fact the waffle I ordered didn't state it had nuts in and almost resulted in an allergic reaction. However staff were apologetic and helpful and replaced the meal without the allergen.
