“This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area (possibly in Wellington). Their food is well prepared and delicious. I tried the chicken sola —which is classified as a ‘starter’— and it has a full dinner’s worth of chicken, and it has a kick! The fried poppadom is so tasty and the garlic naan is GREAT. My family loves the butter chicken, especially my son who orders ‘Butter the Chicken’ off the kids menu. The only curious thing was how three people in my party ordered butter chicken and each person’s butter chicken came out in staggered order, my wife’s, then my daughter’s, and then my son’s. It was all extremely tasty, though, so no worries.”

“Best Indian food in Upper Hutt by taste and value for money. Excellent service and great beer selection. Upper Hutt has huge competition for all types of Indian food with 10 or more Indian style food vendors....”

“The staff here were very friendly and accommodating for my friend and I with our babies and they brought over a high chair for us. The coffee & food was awesome and came out so fast. “Sierra Café on Lambton Quay is a handy little spot tucked away upstairs from the main street, which makes it feel a bit calmer than some of the busier Wellington cafés. The coffee here is solid — my flat white was smooth and strong enough to start the day. I ordered a vegan sandwich, which was creamy and tasty. The cabinet food looked fresh, with muffins, scones, and frittatas that seemed popular with other customers. Service was quick and friendly; even when the café started filling up around lunchtime, my order came out fast. The space has a relaxed, casual vibe and works well for either a quick stop or a longer sit-down. Prices are pocket-friendly. I liked that they cater to different diets with vegetarian and gluten-free options. It’s not the flashiest café in Wellington, but it’s dependable and comfortable. I’d happily come back, especially for breakfast or a mid-morning coffee.”

“The food was great and the service was fast...prices were reasonable, we got 12 dishes and came to 240. I'd say that's cheap!!! The only down fall the seating was so crowded there were 13 of us on a round table we couldn't even fit. They need to sort their space out”

“Just called through to L T Campbell almost right on closing time and half expected to get a voice mail as you might expect elsewhere. Fortunately for me, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff were on hand and as friendly as if it were 9am on a Monday. Outstanding initial experience that has won my custom, I will be taking my carpet cleaning machine through to them in the morning.”

“Ordered a Pad Thai (Chicken) to takeaway. Was ready earlier than advised and it was delicious. Compared to the competition, it’s as good if not better and the portion size is nearly double that of their competitor. Nice to see shrinkflation hasn’t spread to every business in NZ yet!”

We had the pomegranate and home made lemonade drinks and they are divine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience, the food is prompt and tasty and the service is excellent. We left full and impressed. We’ve been to Spain and the food at olé is authentic and awesome.”

“Pop in there awhile ago with some family members for dinner, out of the five of us I was the only vegetarian, I was very happy with the selection of meals I had to choose from, my meal was very tasty and great, I know the rest of my family were very happy with their meals, The staff were great and friendly and were very helpful with any questions you may have when you are having trouble ordering, their prices are good you really get your money wroth here, they do sell liquor here but it’s also BYO but if I remember correctly it’s little charge for being your own, overall it was awesome night, it’s awesome to have such a great Restaurant in the heart of Newtown!! “Pulled in here for a couple of drinks and a game of darts, what a fabulous place. We were on abit of a time limit but we really wanted to stay longer and get some food too, we really wanted to kick in for a long one. Had everything we wanted, bar stools and tables,, cosy lounging area with style, an outdoor area, a TAB, this place has alot to offer, lots of great food choices too, oh and a unique looking fire place to sit around on these cold days. Would I come back again, hell yes, loved it”
