Whenever I come to wellington from Paraparaumu I alaways prefer to have my lunch in curry heaven restaurant . I recommend to everyone to go to this restaurant. Thanks for delicious food.”

“Found this place near our air bnb. I was so surprised to see its very authentic! They even had agua de horchata which you don’t see much around in restaurants this far from Mexico. The amount of food that comes in a plate is very fair for the price and the flavours are a hit! And the service was more than excellent. Every single person there is welcoming, nice and friendly. “Despite the looks is a very clean nice place, the menu do not exceed the 20 nzd and the service is veery kind an polite. I order a burguer was all meat, chicken very Juicy and of quality I was surprised to be a honest. I think will eat more here. Very affordable but is mostly sandwiches and burgers. Oh and breakfast. Coffee looks very well done. The burguer was 12nzd and you can add for 7 nzd the can and the chips. I think I enter one time and just didn't though much for the looks so I tho hmm may be not. But now that I actually eat here all looks lovely and fresh. Looks like a very vintage Cafe. I'm very happy to give this place an opportunity.”

“A surprise find in Jackson st Petone. A really nice well laid out restaurant, friendly helpful staff and a great range of Thai food available. The servings were a generous size and very tasty. My wife is a Thai chef and she was impressed. The priceing is resonable with our two main meals and a drink costing $45. Happy to recommend Smile Elephant and will be visiting again when we head to Welly. We went back and I got the spare ribs and chips, my wife curried chicken noodle bowl. ❣️”

“My friend wanted to try Concord out and having perused the menu online (who doesn’t) I was in like Flynn. We shared the pate entree that was delish. The only negative was the chargrilled toast tasted burnt. But the pate was sublime. My friend had the steak sandwich “rocking” was her review. I had the fish. This was outstanding. Cooked to perfection, a flavourful delicate butter sauce and fresh, Al dente asparagus. The best. The ambience was awesome and the service was great. Didn’t get the server’s name but she was a delight. Highly recommend.”

“I've been to most cafés around Wellington City and Petone/Lower Hutt, and Kelburn Café is hands down the most consistently amazing. I order Eggs Benedict everywhere I go, and after 10+ visits here, I've never once had an over—or undercooked egg - the consistency here is outstanding. It is a small café, so when it's busy there can be a short wait for food or coffee, but it's always worth it. The coffee is consistently perfect, and the beans they use are clearly top quality. The café is run by a small team who always serve with a smile, and the atmosphere is amazing. Couldn't recommend them enough - I'll definitely be back regularly.”

Easily accessible. Well managed, organised and nicely maintained. Sushi is on display for the customers to pick around from the standing area with detailed info provided for people with specific dietary requirements. Spacious but limited seating. Excellent ambiance and cosy atmosphere. Self-service. Helpful staff. Plentiful food options. Have not noticed these many delicious Sushi options to choose from for vegans and vegetarians at any other Sushi restaurant. Yum preparations. Good presentation. Offers takeaways. Good place for quick bite. Normally busy during peak hours. Reservation cannot be made in advance. PayWave facility is available at this location. Could not notice wheelchair accessible seating or high chair in plain view at this location. Outdoor seating is not available. There is no dedicated parking area available for this restaurant although street parking can be found around the entrance. Entrance is wheelchair accessible. Liked the experience.”

“As a former NYer, this place nails it. About as far as you can get from NYC and the flavor is spot on. They put the slices back in the oven so the crust is nice and crispy. I would pull 1/4 point if I could for not having shakers of garlic powder or Jamaican beef parties on the menu.”
