We only found this restaurant about a month ago, and have been twice since. So sad it will be closing soon. From when we came in, the service was impeccable, relaxed but attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is stylish yet fun, with a retro plush feel to the place. The food was so enjoyable I easily felt as if I was back on holidays in France! :) I really recommend the pate as an entree, the steak frites as a main, and the creme brulee for dessert. The coctail I tried, a Nuit Blanche was great too.

Went here for my birthday dinner - lovely food, drinks and service, decently priced for such a nice place as well. Really enjoyed the steak tartare though the sauce was a little overpowering. Mashed potatoes were amazing and I would highly recommend the cheeseburger!

Excellent night out with my partner and a couple of friends. The food a drinks were wonderful, so was the atmosphere. I ordered the Venison Wellington, which was both photogenic and delicious. The winter greens side was a standout as well. Others enjoyed the fresh oysters and the duck confit. There were so many good choices on the menu, would be worth another visit.

I had a wonderful dinning experience at Concord and 100% want to go back. The service was impeccable, especially our lovely server from Iowa. The food was also wonderful and I loved the French inspired menu with some American bistro added in. The fish crudo was my favorite, though my friends really loved the oyster roll. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Such a cool revamp from the old Lido Cafe! Great service last night and the food and drinks were great. The duck was soft and light to the chew really delicious. The gravy with garlic butter and Brussel sprouts were amazing as well. I found just enough space for a few teaspoons of the delectable crème brûlée! So good!!

Great spot for a weekend brunch. The French Toast with persimmon seasonal offering that they have at the moment is my recommendation at the moment. Coffee is good and staff are on the ball. Nice relaxed environment.

I had booked a table for 2 for a pre-show dinner with my friend at the bistro a week ago and was very pleased with the choice since I've never been here before. The retro designs, luscious velvet, hues of red and gold under dimmed lighting set the mood and tone for our chic evening meal - just what us 2 mums need on a night out without the kids :) The waitstaffs were very attentive and started us on cocktails then proceeded to walk us through the menu. We had the Pork Belly and the Special of the Day - Duck Confit accompanied with a side of the Pomme Puree. Both our mains were of a decent size, amazingly delicious tender-cooked meats served with vegetables. The Pomme Puree has got to be the best potato mash with gravy I've eaten to date - doused with chicken gravy and truffle butter, it was so smooth and addictive, I just want to have more! And to finish, we got a Tarte au Citron Vert and Creme Brulee to share. Cost us $175 total for food and drinks. All in all a great experience, definitely keen to return to try out other menu items from this French-American influenced bistro.

This is one of our favourite spots in Wellington, hands down. We’ve happily become regulars. The food is perfect: simple recipes, high quality ingredients cooked to perfection, unpretentious. Just really good food. The staff is almost better than the food! They’re personable, hilarious, and take their profession seriously. What more could you want? I’ll tell you, a well stocked bar and wine cellar. Drinking and pairing is fun here. Belly-up to the bar and go on a journey with their wonderful bartenders. And finally the ambience, comforting like a warm hug in a velvet jacket. Treat yourself… but don’t take our favourite seats at the bar.

My friend wanted to try Concord out and having perused the menu online (who doesn’t) I was in like Flynn. We shared the pate entree that was delish. The only negative was the chargrilled toast tasted burnt. But the pate was sublime. My friend had the steak sandwich “rocking” was her review. I had the fish. This was outstanding. Cooked to perfection, a flavourful delicate butter sauce and fresh, Al dente asparagus. The best. The ambience was awesome and the service was great. Didn’t get the server’s name but she was a delight. Highly recommend.
