My favourite curry place in Wellington. Luckily I live just around the corner. Super friendly staff, always greeted with a smile, and the food is delicious. Keep up the great work and see you very soon!
Very fast and good service. Naans are pretty good. I was sad that they could only do mild vege dishes for the paneer ones since I can't eat paneer and the medium was actually really spicy couldn't enjoy it. I guess cos it's premade batches? Onion baji was a bit confusing. It was very red and in a plastic box rather than bag, it was not crunchy at all but chewy and wet? Potentially due to condensation? Prices a little steep for a takeaway premade curry place, but I get it's a struggle for everyone right now. Nice guys working there.
Best curry ever!! My go to for a lazy takeaway night - they always hit the spot with the way the cook the chicken. I had a busy day and last minute ordered before they closed and they were so nice and accomodating and quick!
Very enjoyable, tasty Curry. The Nann bread is fantastic. Loved seeing the nann bread cooked by the counter.
The Chicken biryani was authentic and comparable to the one that I had in middle east. The rice was cooked perfectly and not shy of the chicken. The kheema naan (naan with mince lamb) was amazing. The bread was soft and fluffy and the fillings complimented it well. Both dishes were packed with flavours. The staff were welcoming. They also have the tandoor near the counter where you can see how they cooked the food. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients.
I dropped by here for a quick meal before my flight back home. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Butter Chicken was to die for but the wait time was a bit too long. Calling and ordering ahead does help a bit but beware of wait times regardless. Proves how good their food is.
I have had many butter chickens, from bluff to cape reinga, and nothing has come close to Taste of India. Best butter chicken in NZ
The food is amazing here. - Chicken sagwala was nice spicy - Chicken Korma was good sweet - Rogan Josh was spicy and delicious Wish this shop was located near my home, we'd get takeaway there every Friday
We got the butter chicken and tikka masala. The chicken was beautifully cooked and pretty much melted in our mouths. The butter chicken is t as sweet as other ones, which I prefer. The Tikka Masala was quite oily and had big bits of hard seasoning but Iād eat it again & get naan next time (:
