“We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa B&B! David and Tatiana are super welcoming and friendly, they greeted us upon arrival, showed around the place and provided great local recommendations for dining and exploring the area. Our room had a great view, and was top notch comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptionally good and included crepes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, a selection of jams, cheese and ham, cereal and eggs. Overall, would highly recommend staying with Tatiana and David while you are in the area!”

“Our stay was absolutely positively fantastic. The quality of the apartment was above and beyond our expectations. Staff were very helpful, location was only a 5 min walk to the main shops and the beach was literally across the road. “We just had our wedding at Eagle Ridge and were lucky enough to stay at the Homestead for 2 nights. I cannot recommend Eagle Ridge highly enough. The accommodation was absolutely next level! We felt so special staying there with our family and friends. The views were stunning, the grounds were beautiful and it was an absolute dream. For the wedding it was so nice being able to turn up and everything was pretty much done for you, nothing was too big or too small for the staff. They handled everything with complete professionalism. The food was delightful, everybody raved about how delicious the food was. And I cannot recommend highly enough the venue, Deborah and her incredible staff.”

“Sadly we were contacted by Pap Village Vets as a community member brought in our deceased cat to be microchipped scanned to find us. They went above and beyond for us. They wrote a beautiful card, took paw prints for us. They even contacted the person who posted our cat online to try track us down to take down the post so we did not have to view it. Thank you for being there for us in such a tough time! You showed great kindness and empathy- we really appreciated it!”

“We stayed here for a family wedding and it couldn't have been more enjoyable. The staff and management bent over backwards for us and we could not praise them enough for there efforts. The facilities were excellent and we had the privilege of staying in one of their newly renovated units. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the thermal pools after a big day out exploring the area.”

“Staying in our motorhome we must say we were impressed. From the check ✅ in, with Kirsten, and the advice and help we received from the start. A beautiful Holiday Park with everything so clean and tidy. The playground too, is well thought out for childrens pleasure during their stay. Very handy to the beach and rolling surf, our two small dogs were in heaven when we all went down to the sand. It is fantastic that the dogs are allowed to be with us on holiday during the off season. The showers were nice and hot water aplenty. A friendly little bunny was not at all worried about two highly excited dogs because it sat just outside their wire fenced yard and teased them. In all a great place to stay and we will be back. “New, tidy place easy walking down to restaurants and bars. Quiet with a decent view of the sea. Room is small, especially bathroom, but excellent for a night or two”

“Love taking simba here. Most of the staff know him and always fuss him.I also like washing him here because I can use as much water and dry him off without running out of time like most places do and your not on a time limit . My dog is very long-haired, and it takes me nearly 1 hour to dry him. And my dog comes out smelling beautiful. I would recommend getting your pooch washed here. 100%”

“We have had amazing experiences with A Cat's World! Our cats have always settled into their holiday with curiosity and have come home relaxed. It's reassuring to know the care the cats get while we're away goes above and beyond for all their needs (cleanliness; privacy; grooming; toys and play time; food selection; any health needs that arise) and we can rest easy until our return. Barbara and Lester have a heart and passion for what they do and it shows in the environment and with the cats. We would highly recommend this cattery for anyone considering this for their pets!”

“We have three amazing dogs. Two of them are rescues and our little Jack Russel girl suffers from extreme timidity and anxiety when she’s in a new place. These kennels were amazing. They were so kind and accommodating, even carrying our girl around so she didn’t feel too much pressure. It’s so hard to find a reliable and nice please where people genuinely love animals and respect them. Thanks a lot guys, we felt way better leaving them with Kelly and the team, than we did ever leaving them with Papamoa Kennels”

“These guys know how to get repeat business. They do everything right (in my book), and completely worthy of their high rating. Their service is impeccable. The location is handy, in the Central Parade block of shops just down from New World and Z petrol station. Easy drive in, most the time grabbing a park close by or out the front. They have a great menu covering all your kiwi fish n chip classics, burgers and Chinese selections we’ve come to expect in NZ. Their online ordering system is super quick and easy to use. Added bonus, a 10% discount coupon for online orders over $15 ✅ Even if you don’t order online, you won’t be waiting long. Did I mention they do coffee too? And free wifi (NZ establishments are mostly slow on that one). Our favourites for Friday night takeaways; Gurnard or Terakihi which comes in a light batter with a hint of lemon and herb salt. Always fresh. Good chunky chips, a cheeky hot dog and spring roll always go down a treat. Their Nasi Goreng is the best Ive had in NZ, and their wonton or dumpling noodle soup too. Its 5-stars all the way from me. I recommend Central coast takeaway to anybody who asks which is what spurred me to write a review. Credit where credit is due as Nan always said, and these guys deserve the credit… best takeaways in the Bay!”
