   We had an absolutely amazing stay at this peaceful beachside holiday park! The location is unbeatable — right by the sea, super quiet, and incredibly relaxing. Everything you could possibly need is on site: well-maintained facilities, a clean laundry with washing machines, and even a great BBQ area which was perfect for evenings with friends and family. The surroundings are simply stunning, with endless opportunities for beautiful walks and amazing day trips. We enjoyed exploring the area so much, we wished we could have stayed even longer! If you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic place to unwind by the ocean with all the essentials provided, this is it. Highly recommended!

   We had a great stay in our caravan at this park. All the facilities were super clean and it was great to see they weren't closed at the time of cleaning. The kids that were a part of the group had a wonderful time bouncing on the big mat. They met other like minded kids and formed friendships. A short walk to the beach and I even managed to stumble down using my crutch. A dog friendly park except over the summer, and plenty of dogs as well. Altogether a great camp for young and old with a lot of interest locally. We will definately be back. Thank you park management for the experience.

   We had an incredible stay at Bowentown Beach Holiday Park over Labour Weekend. Our non-powered beachside tent site was amazing — falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to native birds each morning was something special. With four boys (aged 0–8), there was never a dull moment. Between the beach right next door, the epic playground, the game and movie rooms, and the pedal kart rentals, the kids were in heaven. The Labour Weekend activities were such a highlight — the sandcastle competition, outdoor movie night, and family games created such a fun, community feel (and we were pretty stoked that our sandcastle even took out a win!). We also managed a night-time soak in the spa, which was the perfect way to end the day. The staff were outstanding — genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The facilities were spotless and well maintained, and the whole park had such a relaxed, family-focused atmosphere that it made leaving really hard. Watching our boys make new friends and spend their days outside, just being kids, was the best part. We’ll definitely be back — Bowentown has earned a spot as one of our new family traditions. The only downside? Having to pack up and leave!

   Staying in our motorhome we must say we were impressed. From the check ✅ in, with Kirsten, and the advice and help we received from the start. A beautiful Holiday Park with everything so clean and tidy. The playground too, is well thought out for childrens pleasure during their stay. Very handy to the beach and rolling surf, our two small dogs were in heaven when we all went down to the sand. It is fantastic that the dogs are allowed to be with us on holiday during the off season. The showers were nice and hot water aplenty. A friendly little bunny was not at all worried about two highly excited dogs because it sat just outside their wire fenced yard and teased them. In all a great place to stay and we will be back.    Bowentown Holiday Park is our new favourite campground. The facilities are clean, the activities are endless and the staff, Jules and her family, are super friendly and accommodating. You’ll feel like you’ve just walked into your best friends campground the way you’re welcomed in and made to feel at home. Bowentown Beach Holiday Park is a MUST for your next camping trip.

   It was the second of last night we had in New Zealand, and it was a lovely time back in 2016. It was raining when I got there but the morning clouds lifted a bit for us to take some pictures. We stayed in one of the little cozy houses on the hill and loved it. Very clean.

   Excellent location close to a beautiful beach, lots of nice walks closeby. Perfect trip for our two young kids with a great playground. Stayed in a one bed unit, beds really comfortable. Good coffee available at the Cafe and great cheese scones. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again

   Wow wow wow love this place! Can't say enough about the fabulous staff (they even managed to get me into the ocean at sunrise in winter), excellent coffee and scones, super clean and modern facilities and amazing sea views!    Very nice campground at a beautiful beach. Great facilities (especially if you are travelling with little children) and very friendly and helpful staff. They helped me by forwarding a package for me to the Netherlands since it had not arrived on time before our departure. One small improvement I would suggest (to all cabins at any campground in general) is maybe to install bug screens at least on one or two windows of the cabin so fresh air can get in at night but no mosquitoes.
