   The vet acted respectfully, professionally and quickly in response to my pets need. She took initiative to contact my previous vet in a different city to ensure the best outcome when administering anesthetic for an operation as my pet struggled with a previous operation. I rate the care and attention. The papamoa team provide excellent service and care. Thank you.

   This was our first visit to Papamoa Village vets. The clinic was clean and tidy, and the staff were helpful, friendly and cooperative. They were very understanding and accommodating when I had to cancel my first visit at short notice. The vet, Camille, was gentle and kind when handling my cat. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

   Sadly we were contacted by Pap Village Vets as a community member brought in our deceased cat to be microchipped scanned to find us. They went above and beyond for us. They wrote a beautiful card, took paw prints for us. They even contacted the person who posted our cat online to try track us down to take down the post so we did not have to view it. Thank you for being there for us in such a tough time! You showed great kindness and empathy- we really appreciated it!

   First time at Papamoa Village Vets. Very clean, modern and presentable. Reception was welcoming and friendly. Calm atmosphere for our puppy. Was effortlessly weight with appropriate food bribes. Seen by Melani who had such a great demeanour with our pup. Efficient checks of her health, appropriate jabs and we were on our way. Overall, a great experience for us and our pup. Highly recommended.

   AVOID. For many years I’ve been taking my cat here to have her sedated and her long coat clipped short for summer. Always around the $160 mark. I took her in recently and they quoted $350. When I asked how the price became more than double and explained I’d been coming here for years, they checked their systems to find it was true and went to talk to the vet who gave a new estimate of $200. Cat also had a gunky eye which I asked them to take a look at. When I came back to pick cat up, the bill was almost $500. They had taken a skin biopsy from cats eye and explained it wasn’t likely but she could have cancer. Didn’t ask me first or explain it to me before doing it. Results came back and it’s just an eye infection. I’ll never risk returning to whoever this vet is now. Rip off, bad communication, didn’t even shave the cat properly left the back legs and under her front undone.
