   I’ve been living in Tauranga for nearly 14 years, and this was one of the worst customer service experiences my family has had. This morning, my brother took his young daughter and my wife to Unichem Pharmacy on 15th Avenue for a passport photo. They waited for a long time while two staff members — one male and one female — kept assisting customers who arrived after them, completely ignoring those who had been waiting. There was no communication, no acknowledgement — just very poor service. It was frustrating and upsetting for my family. As they were about to leave, one female staff member kindly approached their car, apologised, and offered to help, which we appreciated. However, by that time, they had already decided to go elsewhere. We went straight to John’s Pharmacy on Cameron Road and were done in just 3 minutes. The staff there were polite, quick, and professional — a much better experience overall. Management at Unichem should seriously consider giving their staff better customer service training to ensure no one else has to go through this kind of experience. Thanks for the reply. We left because we felt ignored — just sharing our honest experience. We didn’t write this review expecting any reward or store credit. You’re welcome to offer that to someone who needs or expects it.

   I don't normally get my prescriptions from here but I go out of my way to see Hassan, Sharon and staff for off the shelf beauty care and miscellaneous pharmacy products. Price matching service put aside I love the professional advice and smile. Plenty of parking available and the traffic lights make it easy to exit even with busy Friday traffic.
