Wonderful caring staff. On site parking with wheel chair access into the clinic. They have looked after our pets for years and are always caring, professional , knowledgeable, and they always explain to us in language we can understand what the problem might be and their solution. We highly recommended this vet.
Absolutely wonderful experience with this vet! Staff are kind and highly knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable, too! Accessible for those of us with disabilities.
We had to say goodbye to our beloved cat, and Chris and Carol went above and beyond. They treated our kitty with such love, care, and dignity. Their compassion and gentleness meant the world during such a heartbreaking moment. We’ll always be grateful.

Truly exceptional Vet! When we suddenly lost our sweet George, they were nothing short of incredible in treating us and our baby of 10yrs with the utmost respect, genuine empathy, and attention to detail that blew my mind. They gave us the best goodbye we could've ever dreamed of- including the most wonderful card, poem and even a locket of his hair! Their support really did make us feel like family & that thoughtful care made the grief so much more bearable. A huge special thanks goes to amazing Dr. Cat (our rock), lovely Carol, and Heather for all their help, patience and aroha in our time of need, may your kindness return to you all tenfold. Family Vets has been so good to us since we started taking our pets there 3 years ago. Chris and his team offer hands on service and have a genuine love for their animal patients. We have been in and out of Family Vets over the years and when our cat suddenly passed away late last year Chris was so sincere and visibly sad when we brought him in for an autopsy, they really are just a team of awesome individuals. We couldn't be more grateful for the genuine support and care Family Vets takes always. Thank you so much guys!
Very friendly and accommodating receptionist and vet. We were travelling in our motorhome and had to take our kitten for it's 2nd vaccination. Staff could not have been more helpful. Definitely recommend.
