“What an awesome op shop. Plenty of parking, well organised and beautifully set out store. Electrical goods are tagged as being tested so they are guaranteed safe to buy. This shop sells everything from clothes to dishes, to books, to videos to kitchen wares, yarn, toys and of course electrical appliances. All things in the shop seem to be priced to sell & outside there's a couple of 50% off racks. Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful.”

I gave them a call to order items, which were unable to be purchased through click and collect, for a colleague who is based near Whakatāne - for pick up in a couple of hours. The staff members who I dealt with were more than accommodating, taking my order over the phone and allowing me to pay for it over the phone, also. The whole time, they kept me informed of next steps. This is service that is rarely received, these days. But the staff at Bunnings Whakatāne, I felt, went above and beyond with my interaction. The owner has incredible knowledge and can help you find anything. Make sure you take an antihistamine (dusty for obvious reasons) and have a coffee before you arrive, as once you're here, you could easily spend hours perusing the shelves.”
