The staff members who I dealt with were more than accommodating, taking my order over the phone and allowing me to pay for it over the phone, also. The whole time, they kept me informed of next steps. This is service that is rarely received, these days. But the staff at Bunnings Whakatāne, I felt, went above and beyond with my interaction.     “Bread making classes are great! Just got home from a sourdough bread making class we took for a birthday. Henri shared his tips for kneading the dough, mixing proportions, and the right conditions for bread to rise.   We baked the bread we made in Henri's wood fired oven, and came home with a bag full of baguettes, knot rolls and loaves of wonderful organic sourdough bread. Was a great experience with Henri and Megan who allowed  us to bring our family along to make it a great family outing. Had a fantastic time even though it was humid and raining. His bread making classes are highly recommended for anyone visiting or living in Katikati!”
