Myself and my sister had gone in to get our ring fingers sized.the girl didn't acknowledge my sister who was waiting to start the conversation so we went to just browse near the counters until we could see some acknowledgement.i have just gotten engaged and I need to get my ring altered so I was just wanting to get my size confirmed before doing so and she was really rude to us when we were trying to ask questions and didn't seem interested in talking to us.especially my sister who's ring size was not available here which I understand.but she was really embarrassed and felt shamed about a ring not fitting and the girls attitude was crap when we didn't have any luck.made her feel bad.Disgusting service.

I was a guaranteed sale, I went in on Friday evening and I asked for a specific charm that I had checked online prior saying it was in store. Staff member said no they didn't have it, I asked if I could order it in, she again said no. So I have ordered it through Renshaw's in Whakatāne instead. Flash shop, not so flash service.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Pandora Bayfair store regarding a return request. The entire experience was unpleasant, unprofessional, and far below the standards expected from a luxury retail brand. I purchased an item 7 days ago, brand new, with the receipt provided via email. The staff member, Emma, outright refused to process the refund, insisting on an original physical receipt, despite the store’s policy allowing returns with proof of purchase. When we explained we only had the email receipt (as provided during the purchase), Emma refused to look up the transaction in the system or use the barcode to reprint the receipt, something any competent retail staff should be able to do. What made matters worse was her unhelpful attitude and repeated attempts to avoid resolving the issue. She claimed to have spoken with the manager, yet when I asked to speak directly to the manager, I was told they were “already on a break” — just minutes after Emma supposedly consulted them. This excuse felt fabricated to avoid accountability. At our insistence, we called Pandora Customer Service, and even they suggested the store could simply reprint the receipt and process the refund. Despite this clear solution, Emma continued to avoid taking responsibility. When we returned to the store with Customer Service on the phone, Emma refused to engage with the operator until we insisted. She kept repeating the same questions and demonstrated a lack of basic knowledge about how to perform a refund. After a second call to Customer Service and another consultation with the “manager,” Emma eventually processed the refund, but the entire ordeal felt like an unnecessary hassle. Her attitude was unpleasant and dismissive, and she lacked training in handling even basic retail operations. To add to the frustration, we’ve previously spent nearly $3,000 at Pandora stores over the past two years, and this is the first time we’ve faced such poor service. Other stores, such as those in Auckland, have easily handled similar returns using email receipts and card verification. This experience has made it clear that Pandora Bayfair lacks proper staff training and customer service standards. As a manager of a large retail store myself, I know this level of service is unacceptable, especially for a brand that markets itself as luxury. I doubt the manager was even present, and if they were, it is shocking they didn’t intervene to resolve the issue. After this experience, we will no longer shop at Pandora Bayfair and will advise friends and family to avoid this location as well. Pandora should take immediate steps to address the poor service and staff training at this store to prevent future incidents like this.

They always treat everyone nicely and with a happy smile, even if they are super busy and you are just looking around. That made me come back again and again, not only to just look. I’ve had the WORST experience at this store! A sign went up well before 3pm stating that the shop will be shut for 40minutes, at 3.40pm three staff members exited the store and stated to waiting customers that they needed to go to the toilet….the store had now been closed for nearly an hour the day before Mother’s Day. While waiting for the 40minutes, I saw at least 20-25 people stand and wait and then ultimately decided to leave, with some stating “we’re taking our money else where.” When we asked the three young ladies that work there why they all had to go to the toilet together and not serve the 5-6 people who were waiting; they immediately became argumentative and told us that we’re not allowed in the store because we’ve questioned them. This is NOT how you treat paying customers! Worst customer service I’ve EVER received!!

We usually have Excellent service from this store we pop in often but Yesterday there was a lady who was incredibly rude we ended up leaving without buying anything. We did go past the shop again just before we went home to see if someone else was in the store to help us and thankfully there was but from now on I will first check if the rude woman is there before I go in.
