Shared a big bucket of fries that were amazing, best I’ve had in New Zealand (okay I’ve only been here a week but I’ve had quite a few in my life and these are up there). “Cafe Anatolia is part of popular chain, but new to Tauranga. Its interior is spacious, airy and attractive, although I imagine they will have to put more tables in as more people start coming here. We had both the chicken and the lamb kebabs with 3 sauces (garlic yogurt, hummus and hot chili make an awfully good combination). The first thing we noticed is that the wrap was more of a tortilla than a flat bread, making me want to call it a Turkish "burrito." The second thing we noticed is that they were fabulous. In fact they're rather addicting--we came back again for lunch two days later. Note: if you like desserts they have an impressive selection of bakery goods in their display case, not Turkish but they looked yummy.”

The apartment was fully self-contained with fridge, washing machine, and dryer. We loved being in walking distance to the Mount, beach, spa pools, shops, and restaurants.”
