   Sadly we tried this cafes coffee and were disappointed. The bean is average and the milk was Way to hot. Therefore the coffee tasted burned and bitter. To hot to drink. Why cant people in NZ learn to make coffee properly?

   Freezing cold with bi fold doors wide open on a cold and rainy day.. no heating Very expensive [*A dissatisfied customer will tell between 9-15 people about their experience. Around 13% of dissatisfied customers tell more than 20 people.

   Stopped in for brunch and a coffee. Service was lovely, all the staff were happy and welcoming. I had the chicken tacos which were so tasty. And a lovely coffee Edit: Ended up stuck in Tauranga so I came back for breakfast again. The staff are still lovely, and even recognized I had been a couple of days ago. French toast today which was yummy as. Such a welcoming environment that I have enjoyed very much

   Ordered 2 tropical smoothies and 1 berry milkshake. As far as I was aware, smoothies were made with milk - our tropical ones were literally ice and frozen mango/Banana with no milk in them whatsoever and they didn't taste great. Definitely not worth $10 each. Also got a berry milkshake and it was not what I recall a milkshake being - milk and syrup whizzed up together. We got a berry smoothie frappe instead. Totally disappointed and won't be going back

   Great all round Cafe. Coffee is really nice (I'm not a coffee officianardo myself but I always enjoy them) they have some great sweet treats for those with a sweet tooth like myself. Service is always great with staff being warm-hearted and welcoming.

   I took my mum here for lunch, the service was excellent especially for it being quite packed. We ordered from the menu as well as a cappuccino and milkshake, the food was delicious. We are going back when we have our next mother and daughter day.

   We went on a fine Sunday morning and it was nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the hot chocolate wasn't very nice. The coffee was as expected from Columbus.

   Been going here for 2 years now and it’s always been ok. Today I ordered the Columbus breakfast with poached eggs. Ciabatta wasn’t toasted, when I cut the eggs open, they had not been cooked properly-basically raw egg and water came out (making my bread soggy) , took a bite made me sick. Sausage and bacon were warm at best, the tomato looked like it had been placed on a hot pan for a second then taken off. I tried to eat but every bite made me want to throw up. I’m going to stick with only warm drinks, cause even they have a 50/50 chance of being right. The service was ok, the guy that gave me food got way to close when placing it on the table, and I caught glimpses of him looking at me during this (and pervious) visits. Not to mention he is a grown man staring at students!

   New owners? Snippy service, not impressed. It's a no from me. Loaded wedges were soggy fries with cheese and parsley. Coffee weak as..... Service shocking. Tried to call to discuss but the 2 women just couldn't understand what I was trying to get at. What a shame.

   Went in today at 1.30 ordered a sausage roll and a frappe my wife had a filo and a iced coffee. The sausage roll went in and out of microwave 3 times ( 3 staff on duty) filo same in and out as well . Drinks were not being made for 15 mins ( no other customer when we ordered) had to ask for drinks again were told would be another 10 mins ( wife had to get back to work) suddenly all a rush to get drinks made , finally got drinks after 20 mins waiting. Poor poor service .
